Seeing as it has not yet been announced, why is there a page for AC4? Isn't everything here as speculation, because we are all assuming they are going to do more games? I know there is the Corey May person saying that he was ruling out WW2 and Feudal Japan, but I vaguely remember reading that on here ages ago, before lots of things about AC3 were announced, including the setting. We all know that the Animus has always been the source of our adventures in Assassin's Creed, So I pose this Question, Is Desmond Still Alive? Could he possibly have survived whatever the hell that thing Juno built did to him, and crawl back to the Animus? Or is it possible that Bill Miles has stepped up to the chair. Or is it Possible that Connor is reliving memories throught the use of the memory discs that were seen in Assassin's Creed Revalation's.

There is NO modern day with Desmond or any other person like that - we have assumed the roles, as players, of Abstergo Agents and after having upgraded the Animus we can play anyones ancestor we wish. I assume Abstergo is tapping into Desmond's family linage because of all the acrtifacts they have come across =] I for one thinks its a great new feature in AC because now they don't have to confine themselfs to members of one family, they can jump all over the world and go backwards and forwards between whatever time to 2013. And to thicken the plot, I heard from some sources that this was extracted from Desmond, either during his initial stay at Abstergo or possibly from his father. ==Something to look for: No African pirates?==
One thing I noticed during the trailer was the distinct lack of African particularly African American pirates. Blackbeard was known for having [http://nccultureblogger.wordpress.com/2011/06/17/blackbeard-and-black-pirates/ africans in his crew] that he was hanged with. The exact nature of africans being treated 100% as equals on his crew is something of [http://articles.dailypress.com/2011-06-06/news/dp-nws-oped-duffus-0605-20110604_1_blackbeard-queen-anne-s-revenge-kenneth-kinkor historical debate] though its not suprising considering the ship he captured La Concorde, had african slaves. Personally, one of my good friends is a descendent of blackbeard's crew and is 25% african american. While little evidence of Blackbeard [http://wikis.lib.ncsu.edu/index.php/Blackbeard having many wives exists], thanks to diaries and genetic testing, she and many other can trace themselves back to the directly to Blackbeard or his crew.

This is speculation on my part, but it feels like Ubisoft may have overlooked some of the historical facts involving Blackbeard--especially the broad fact of Africans on his crew. If true it would be a travesty not only to descents of the crew, but to entertainment in general as an example of the Disney Effect similar to african american's being in westerns. I am going to mention this to a couple of the people who do reviews for Assassin's Creed, but it would be nice if you guys could look out for any African NPCs or characters in the new Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag.

I don't know if anyone else has noticed this yet but if you look closely at the back of the ship at the end of the E3 Trailer you can see that the ship is named "Delicia". After a bit of research I found out that the Delicia was captained by a man named Woodes Rogers. Rogers later went on to be the first Royal Governor of the Bahamas. He also imposed some kind of tax. If on 21 December 2012, Desmond died and Juno took over the earth, how in the world will there be peace and such in an Abstergo office while an agent is reliving memories? 1) The modern part is in 2013 and it does make sense since we are not in 2012 anymore.

2) There are a lot of people working for Abstergo Industries and the part of Abstergo that workes on memories taken from dead/alive people is getting reseached by reseatch analysts at Abstergo Entertainment.

3) Juno is a rouge AI so she does not have enough power to enslave the world...yet.

4) The Animus allows us to go to any timeline in the past.

Alright so I started a contract in about sequence 3, and I never ended up completing it until I beat the game and started doing side missions. But heres the thing, it says in my "Side Missions" that i still have that contract but it doesn't show my target on the map. This is preventing me from getting 100% synch on the contracts and getting that cool sword. Anything to fix this?

how is is one you sink one of the legendry ships hms fearless/sovereign one is left you get killed the replay still has the two ships together , which i think is unfair advantage as we are fisrtly fighting two ships big fellers to boot.
