Assassins
Revamp
Assassination targets were individuals that the Assassin Order – and in select instances, the Templar Order – deemed necessary of elimination.

Middle Ages
Around the time of the Third Crusade, the Assassin Altaïr Ibn-La'Ahad assassinated certain figures during his quest to find The Chalice:
*Tamir
*Alaat
*Roland Napule
*The Master's Student
*Master of the Tower
*Harash
*Lord Basilisk

Altaïr later assassinated nine tyrannical public figures in an effort to restore his lost rank and regain honor within the Assassin Order:
*Tamir
*Garnier de Naplouse
*Talal
*Abu'l Nuqoud
*William of Montferrat
*Majd Addin
*Sibrand
*Jubair al Hakim
*Maria Thorpe (spared)
*Robert de Sable

Altaïr also had other targets:
*Haras
*Rashid ad-Din Sinan
*Frederick the Red
*Moloch
*Dark Oracle
*Shalim
*Shahar
*Pirate Captain
*Armand Bouchart
*Swami
*Abbas Sofian

These targets, apart from Haras, Rashid ad-Din Sinan, Swami, and Abbas Sofian, were necessary to aid the Cypriot Resistance in the liberation of Cyprus.

Renaissance
During the Renaissance, the Assassin Ezio Auditore da Firenze assassinated several noblemen in order to avenge the deaths of his family members, free the Spanish Assassins, complete his father's life's work, save the Italian cities of Florence, Venice and Rome from corruption, and to fulfill his destiny as an Assassin.
Colonial America
Haytham Kenway was responsible for the assassination of two English military operatives, as well as three men that opposed the Templars during the French and Indian War.

Before, during, and after the events of the American Revolution, the Assassin Ratonhnhaké:ton assassinated several men in order to protect his tribe and further the pursuit of freedom for the citizens of the thirteen British colonies of America.

Golden Age of Piracy
The Coyote Man was an Animi Avatar used by the entertainment branch of Abstergo Industries, as part of their plan to influence the general public, via the console stage of the Animus technology. His specialty weapon was a shank, made from sharpened bone. Erudita hacked a video in Abstergo Entertainment and stated that the Coyote Man was based off the previously well-received Harlequin and Ottoman Jester, shwing that they care more about popularity than historical accuracy.

Unique moves
Low Profile, Front

The Coyote Man approaches his target and brutally kicks their left knee. Whilst his victim grasps at their possibly-broken limb, the Coyote Man takes the opportunity to slash the right of their abdomen with his shank and then fluidly impales their heart from behind with it. Pulling his weapon back out, he watches sadistically as his target's body falls to the floor.

Low Profile, Back

The Coyote Man walks up behind his target and stabs his shank into their back. As his victim recoils in agony, he spins around in a full circle and slashes his weapon across their side, opening a deep wound while they collapse to the floor from their fractured spine.

High Profile, Front

The Coyote Man runs up and hastily removes his shank. Cruelly stabbing it down into his target's leg, he rips his weapon out and bounds over their back as they keel over from his first strike. With his dagger still in hand, the Coyote Man plants it under his victim's chin, fatally impaling their brain and leaving them to bleed on the ground.

High Profile, Back

The Coyote Man runs up behind his target and forcefully pushes his target onto the floor. Rendered defenseless as they fall face-forward, he rides them into the ground and withdraws his shank, alternating between bashing their back with his fist and stabbing them. After peppering them with multiple wounds and blows, the Coyote Man stands up, satisfied, while he leaves his dead target bleeding.

Bench Kill

The Coyote Man grabs his seated target's foot and drags them off the bench, until their head rests against it. Before his victim can do anything to defend themselves, he forcefully kicks them in the face, violently sending their head backwards and breaking his target's neck on the bench behind them.

Aerial Kill

The Coyote Man leaps from a rooftop as he removes his shank in mid-air, before landing on his target and planting the weapon into their head. Standing up, he stores his dagger away at his belt, and leaves his victim on the ground to die.

Taunts
*"I will have blood!"
*"Challenge me!"
Edward Braddock (January 1695 – 13 July 1755), also known as The Bulldog by his soldiers, was a member of the Templar Order and a General in the British Army.

Biography
Early life
At some point, Braddock became a soldier in the British Army and a member of the Templar Order, during which he became a close acquaintance and friend to Haytham Kenway. The pair would both go on to participate together in the Siege of Bergen op Zoom (1747) in 1747.

During the retreat from the siege, Braddock refused a family entry onto his and Haytham's boat. After the family attempted to force themselves on, Braddock brutally murdered them, providing an example of his ability to kill mercilessly.

Following this, Braddock and Haytham fought in several other campaigns, though Braddock became increasingly violent and cruel to the point that he ruthlessly killed civilians and his own allies alike, much to Haytham's shock. As a result, Haytham and Braddock drifted apart, and Braddock became less concerned with serving the Templar Order, turning away from their ideals and goals.

Braddock eventually became a General in the British Army and was sent to the British colonies in America, where he became the Governor of all thirteen of them. Among his troops, Braddock's reputation and blood-lust for violence earned him the nickname, The Bulldog.

French and Indian War
In 1754, Braddock was stationed in Boston, with Charles Lee serving under his command. Braddock noticed John Pitcairn's unauthorized presence in Boston and had him arrested and charged for desertion and treason. Haytham and Lee arrived, revealing that both Lee and Pitcairn were in Haytham's service under Templar orders. Despite this, Braddock reluctantly consented to give Lee to Haytham, but bitterly denied releasing Pitcairn.

In a plan to retrieve Pitcairn, Lee followed and pretended to be an angry citizen against the British Regulars, provoking Braddock into a chase by throwing horse manure on him. Once he had Braddock on his tail, Lee lured the General and his men to a dead end, which allowed him, Haytham, and Pitcairn to attack and eliminate Braddock's patrol.

The Braddock Expedition
The French will leave or they will die!

As conflict and territorial disputes between the British and the French colonies escalated, Braddock was given command of two regiments and was assigned to retake Fort Duquesne from the French. In order to navigate through the frontier, Braddock enlisted George Washington, a volunteer from the Virginia Militia, as a guide.

In the winter of 1754, France offered a truce, of which Braddock refused. Instead, Braddock continued on his offensive, determined to defeat and drive the French from the land. While rallying his troops and supplies, Braddock attacked several Native American villages, driving the inhabitants out of their land. As a result, Braddock became an enemy of several Iroquois clans, whom Haytham would eventually join forces with in a plan to murder Braddock.

Death
The expedition continued on until July of 1755, during which Braddock killed one of his own soldiers after accusing him of treasonous and insubordinate behavior. Braddock was then approached by Haytham, disguised as a British soldier, who held him at gunpoint. The expedition was then ambushed and attacked by Iroquois warriors, devastating and killing many Redcoats.

In the resulting chaos, Braddock attempted to flee on horseback while Haytham chased close behind. Washington briefly came to Braddock's defense, but was subdued by a Kanien'kehá:ka woman.

Haytham then continued to pursue Braddock on foot, quickly catching up and impaling him with his Hidden Blade. During Braddock's final words, Haytham admitted to him that he had killed him out of necessity, but that some semblance of personal motivation compelled it as well. From there, Haytham departed, taking Braddock's Templar ring from his finger.

Personality
Braddock was originally described by Haytham as brave and bold. However, Braddock changed into a definitively ruthless and violent man, driven by the belief that force was necessary to ensure resolution and success.

His reliance on force resulted in indiscriminate killings of even civilians and his own allies. Braddock was also quick tempered and cruel; he applied strict discipline to the point of brutality against his own soldiers.

Final words
*Edward: Wrong! Were that we applied the sword more liberally and more often, the world would be a better place than it is today.
