Altaïr tracked Talal's movements within the rich district before discovering him within his slave warehouse. He situated his men to surround Altaïr, taunting the intruder and boasting that he had led the Assassin there, absent the burden of fighting with his men. The Templar then ordered his henchmen to kill the distressed man and they followed the orders without question. Talal then watched the fight, looking on in anticipation for the guards to defeat Altaïr, however the Assassin was skillful enough to end to lives of all the guards. <ref name="Assassin's Creed"/>

Talal, seeing this, ran out of his slave complex through a trapdoor in the ceiling. Altaïr immediately gave chase to his fleeing target. Altaïr pursued him in a long and agile chase across rooftops, the streets of Jerusalem and among the people of the city. As Talal prepared an arrow for his bow, Altaïr quickly closed the gap between them, stabbing him with his [[Hidden Blade]]. With his dying words, Talal remarked that the people he was selling were the most unfortunate people in Jerusalem, and that, where they were being sent, they would be better off. He also remarked that he no longer believed in anything after death and that the people he had "rescued" had abandoned their beliefs as long as he had, being too weak to speak anymore, Talal died and all that was left was for Altaïr to escape.<ref name="Assassin's Creed"/>

Talal was a cruel man, locking up men and women who he claimed to have been beggars, whores, addicts and lepers. Though these actions were cruel, he believed himself to be doing it for the right cause but he always knew that his death would not get in the way of his Templar brothers' goals. He had lost faith over time, claiming that not only the people have abandoned him, but the people he took into his care, trying to save them but he believed Altaïr would kill them all just because he was asked. He was somewhat cocky aswell, believing that Altaïr would fail to defeat his men and even taunting Altaïr beforehand. <ref name="Assassin's Creed"/>

Talal usually had a bow tied up against his back, along with arrows. He also had a sword in it's scabbard but he was proven to be more experienced with a bow and arrow. He wore a darkening gray tunic which had yellow stripes. Talal wore two vambraces on each wrist and had a large belt around him. He had plain white leggings which descend into another layer of leggings which can be tightened. Talal had a goatee and usually had his hair platted into "cornrows". He was of normal height and stature. <ref name="Assassin's Creed"/>

I cleaned up the article under the heading "Personality and characteristics" and you wrote "the other edit read better". Right... Apart from the fact the original article looks like it was written by a 5year old, the grammar and specifically the "tenses" are all over the place and wrong. Fine, if you want to keep the old version then do it, but then this Wikia is taking a step backwards, not forwards. Also, the article is incorrect in what happens in the game i.e. Tamir does not kill an "innocent civilian" and the Templar's were never a "secret orginaztion". Tamir was a proud but cold-hearted taskmaster who would not take "no" for an answer. He even put one of his merchants, who could not complete his weapons order (which was due to be delivered to his Templar brethren), to death out of sheer frustration. Unknown to the general population of Damascus, Tamir secretly worked with the Templars and even at death's door, he insisted his cause was not about profit but a much more noble one. He knew full well that he was a mere pawn, and warned Altair that the "others" would not take kindly to his assassination. <ref name="Assassin's Creed" /> <ref name="Assassin's Creed: The Secret Crusade" />

Tamir wore an auburn brown turban with a tint of yellow around it. The loose pantaloons he usually wore were a lighter shade of brown with dark golden inscriptions surrounding it. Following the Siege of Acre, Garnier was granted jurisdiction of the Poor district in Acre. There, he set up his base of operation at the [[Hospitalier Fortress|Hospitalier hospital]], and evidently continued his brutal experiments. News of his horrible work also spread throughout the city.<ref name="AC" />

When Altaïr infiltrated the Hospitalier Fortress, a terrified patient attempted to escape, only to be captured by Garnier's guards. When Garnier revealed himself, he attempted to calm the patient, however, the patient had a crazed outburst, claiming that Garnier's true intentions were evil. After the doctor admonished him, he then commanded the guards to break the patient's legs, to prevent another escape attempt.<ref name="AC" />

With his final words, Garnier claimed that he was actually helping these people. Although Altaïr tried to rebuke all his claims, Garnier persisted. He said that the people he took were among the poorest and most ill of the surrounding cities, and that many had recovered and were grateful for his generous help. Garnier generally believed that he was helping the people that he held in his Hospital, when in fact he was committing cruel and injustice acts onto these people and turning them into his slaves and also indoctrinating them as his [[guards]]. Claiming to be a man of science, he lacked a sense of ethics and morality. He didn't seem to fear death and even while he was communicating with Altaïr, he tried to justify his actions, explaining why he dragged them from their supposed "homes" such as the brothels or sewers from where they were kidnapped. <ref name="AC" />

He often wore a black robe with a white apron which was stained red from the blood of his patients which had either perished or were still alive. He had a small leather belt around his waist which held up a small pouch which contents are unknown and he usually carried his sword around with him for protection. He was of average height and he had highly visible wrinkles on his face and he was also balding. <ref name="AC" />
