==Alternate reality==
During the [[Rebellion against King Washington (alternate reality)|fight]] against [[George Washington|King Washington]]'s tyranny, Thomas Jefferson was the leader of the [[New York City|New York]] rebellion.<ref name="TOKW">''[[The Tyranny of King Washington: The Redemption]]''</ref>

When [[Ratonhnhaké:ton]] crashed the ''[[Aquila]]'' into another ship off the shore of New York City, Washington traveled to the docks to investigate the disturbance. Jefferson seized this opportunity to attack Washington's [[New York Pyramid|fortress]]. He was later quickly overwhelmed, but Ratonhnhaké:ton arrived and used his [[Bear Might]] ability to cut off Washington's reinforcements and open up an escape route for the rebels. As they fled, the Assassin introduced himself to Jefferson.<ref name="TOKW"/>

They met again in an alley. Jefferson recognized they needed the people's help to bring down Washington and directed the Assassin to [[John Fitzwilliams]], a corrupt official hoarding food to sell them at inflated prices. Ratonhnhaké:ton assassinated him, and with the help of the farmer [[Warren]], distributed food to the people of the city, gaining Jefferson their favor.<ref name="TOKW"/>

Ratonhnhaké:ton met Jefferson again, who informed him he had received word that [[Paul Revere]]'s wife and son had disappeared. Ratonhnhaké:ton took up Revere's work of rallying the people against Washington, causing chaos and destruction that turned the people on their oppressors. With the city's guards scattered, Ratonhnhaké:ton prepared to signal an attack on Washington's palace by toppling the gunpowder storage tower in [[Fort George]]. Jefferson spent his spy [[Godfrey]] to plant explosives at the base of the tower for Ratonhnhaké:ton to topple it.<ref name="TOKW"/>

When this was accomplished, Jefferson and [[Benjamin Franklin]] led the attack on Washington's pyramid. Ratonhnhaké:ton promised he would see them again after he entered the palace and confronted the king.<ref name="TOKW"/>

*In [[Shaun Hastings' email]], he claims Jefferson advocated the castration of homosexuals. Jefferson was actually liberalizing the law in [[Virginia]], which previously punished {{Wiki|Sodomy laws in the United States|anyone convicted of sodomy with death}}.
