The '''Campagna district''' (English: Campaign District) was one of the four districts of [[Rome]]. This district was characterized by its farmlands and large settlements. During the early 1500s, the Campagna district, like the [[Centro district|Centro]] and [[Antico district|Antico]] districts, fell into disrepair under the influence of the [[House of Borgia]]. Four [[Borgia Tower]]s ruled over the Campagna district, each guarded by a [[Borgia Captains|Borgia Captain]]. By 1503, [[Ezio Auditore da Firenze|Ezio Auditore]] had burned down all of the Borgia Towers, as well as having reopened most of the shops and re-established the [[Mercenaries]] Guild and the [[Caserma di Alviano|Barracks]] for his fellow [[Assassins|Assassin]] [[Bartolomeo d'Alviano]], in order to aid him in his [[Skirmish in the Campagna district|war against the Borgia and their French allies]].

The Campagna district is the home of famous Roman landmarks such as the [[Castra Praetoria]] and the [[Terme di Diocleziano]], where the entrance to the [[Cloaca Maxima]]'s [[Lairs of Romulus|Romulus lair]] is located.

The '''Antico District''' (English: ''Old District'') was one of the four districts of [[Rome]]. This district was characterized by its numerous ancient ruins, hilly landscapes and grass fields, as well as being the district with the fewest buildings, with long roads connecting the villages of the district.

During the early 16th century, the Antico district, like the [[Centro district|Centro]] and [[Campagna District|Campagna]] districts, came under the influence of the [[House of Borgia]] and fell into disrepair. Three [[Borgia Towers]] ruled over the Antico district, each guarded by a [[Borgia Captains|Borgia Captain]]. By 1503, [[Ezio Auditore da Firenze|Ezio Auditore]] had burned down all of the Borgia Towers and had re-opened most of the shops. He had also re-established the [[Rome Thieves Guild|Thieves Guild]] under the disguise of an inn, as the [[La Volpe Addormentata]] (English: ''The Sleeping Fox''), at the request of fellow Assassin [[La Volpe]], in order to aid him in his war against the Borgia.<ref name="ACBH">''[[Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood]]''</ref>

Ezio also explored four [[Lairs of Romulus]] located in the district, with all of them being hidden underneath famous landmarks, such as the [[Colosseo]], the [[Palazzo Laterano]], the [[Piramide Cestia]] and the [[Terme di Traiano]].<ref name="ACBH" />
