==Description==
After four years of searching for [[Micheletto Corella|Micheletto]] and [[Cesare Borgia|Cesare]], [[Ezio]] finally finds Cesare at the [[Siege of Viana]]. Ezio chases the Captain General across the [[Spain|Spanish]] plains, trying not to get involved in the fighting. Ezio climbs a destroyed [[House of Borgia|Borgia]] siege tower, and battles Cesare on the [[Viana]] [[Viana Castle|castle battlements]].

===The Battlefield===
Ezio charges at Cesare through a raging battlefield, and attempts to stab Cesare. Cesare catches Ezio's arm and struggles against him.

Ezio forces Cesare down, but Cesare throws Ezio off of him. Ezio still manages to graze Cesare's neck guard.

*'''Cesare:''' (To his soldiers) ''Kill him! Kill the [[Assassin]]! Tear the'' maledetto bastardo ''(old fucker) to pieces!''

Ezio fights several Naverrese soldiers, until a Spanish cannonball hits close by. Ezio is knocked unconscious, but awakes shortly after to find a dead Naverrese on him, which he rolls off.

*'''Ezio:''' ''I need munitions.''

Ezio begins to loot dead [[Guards|soldiers]].

*'''Spanish Civilian:''' ''Help yourself! There's more than enough to go around!''

After looting, Ezio climbs onto a stray, unarmored [[horse]].

Ezio charges after Cesare, using his horse to jump across large gap in a destroyed bridge. Not long afterwards, the horse is killed by a cannonball. Ezio continues along the path to find the ruins of a Vianan village. Ezio sneaks past the Spanish soldiers that are on guard.

===In the Spanish Village===
Ezio continues through the ruins until he reaches an intact portion of it. Navarrese and Vianan soldiers are fighting in the streets. A Spanish woman runs to Cesare and begs him for help.

*'''Spanish Woman:''' ''¡Ayúdeme! ¡Dañan a mi hijo! ''(Help! My son is injured!)

Cesare nods, then carries on walking into the village towards the fortress. Two Naverrese soldiers pull the woman aside and one stabs her with a Stiletto and spits on her corpse. Ezio chases after them, and sees some women being chased by more of Cesare's soldiers.

*'''Woman''': ''<nowiki>'</nowiki>¡Déjame en paz! ''(Leave me alone!)
*'''Soldier:''' ''I will not hurt you.''

Ezio continues through, battling soldiers on his way. At one point, he hears a Navarrese priest attempting to dishearten the Spanish.

*'''Priest:''' ''You brought this upon yourselves through sin. This is how the Lord punishes you. Ours is a just God, and this is justice. Praise the Lord! Thank you God for teaching us to be humble. To see our punishment for what it is, a call to spirituality. The Lord he giveth and the Lord he taketh away. So the truth is written. Amen!''

Ezio climbs a burning siege tower, and sees soldiers jumping off it as he climbs. The tower breaks at the base, forcing him to perform a [[Leap of Faith]] as it collapses. He fights off attacking guards until he reaches another (sturdier) tower that is next to a wall, and climbs it. Ezio fights his way along the wall to find Cesare finishing off two soldiers.

*'''Ezio''': ''Cesare! The walls surround you. There is nowhere to run.''

Cesare turns to face Ezio and raises his sword.

*'''Cesare''': ''Come then, Ezio!''

The two begin fighting. Throughout the fight, soldiers rush in to aid Cesare, and Cesare taunts Ezio.

Despite the seemingly endless waves of soldiers, Ezio manages to slowly whittle away Cesare's armor. Eventually, Ezio weakens Cesare enough so that he can jump on top of Cesare and prepare to stab him with his [[Hidden Blade]].
