At first I thought the reason Edward didn't have one was because at the time it made sense. He was a sort of rogue assassin and the fact he didn't have the traditional beaked hood reflected that. But when we played the game every single assassin we met had the same regular hood and I thought maybe it was just the assassins soley in the west-indies that did this. Now the Uity trailer releases and it clearly shows the new protagonist dosen't have a beaked hood either. Of course we know nothing about what he fights for or what his role is in the order, but it's looking like Ubisoft has actually ditched the beaked hood but why? Something that has become so iconic to just do away with dosen't make sense. I hope it's at least eplained in the story and not just something they wanted to subtly remove like they did in black flag.

With the past two games in the series, both protagonists have had a speciality when it comes to combat; Connor had a tomahawk with a pivoting blade and Edward had the ability to dual-wield swords. Can we expect Arno/Arnaud to have a speciality in combat or remain like Ezio and Altair with one single sword?

Personally, I would like to see the return of throwin knives and daggers, in addition to one handed swords and heavy weapons such as an axe or hammer

I remember seein that Desmond has a French assass that fought in the revolution in his bloodline...I dont remember if it was maternal or paternal side.

Jaysus how many important assassins does Des have.....you notice that all of Desmond assassin ancestors are usually the cream of the crop, ''the best of the best ''of Assassins....he never just has a regullar average assassin ancesto...it always has to be the best assassin in that region or something.
