Subject 16 was an individual who was kidnapped by Abstergo Industries and forced into the Animus before Desmond Miles. A descendant of both Altaïr Ibn-La'Ahad, and Ezio Auditore da Firenze, he was also related to Desmond Miles. It is also known that he had an ancestor at the Battle of Gettysburg, in the Roman forum and connected with a Queen Isabella.

Biography
Life at Abstergo
The individual known only as Subject 16 was an Assassin captured by the Templar-fronted organization Abstergo Industries at some point in 2012 for use in the genetic memory recall program. Held within the Abstergo Laboratory at all times by Warren Vidic, 16 was kept connected to the Animus for dangerously long periods, sometimes even days at a time. This led to 16 suffering from a severe condition known as the "Bleeding Effect."

Suffering the bleeding effect, 16 began to explore the memories of his ancestors without the use of the Animus, however his inability to actually control these visions forced Subject 16 into a downward spiral of insanity, eventually culminating in his evident suicide.

Before his death, Subject 16 was forced by Abstergo to explore the memories of an ancestor named Ezio Auditore da Firenze, who the Templars knew had located the Vault during his lifetime. 16 never relived the memories of his ancestor visiting the Vault. Draining his body of its blood to paint several cryptic messages upon the floor and walls of the Abstergo Laboratory, 16 committed suicide to prevent the Templars reaching their goals.

Legacy
Following his death, the Templars were left without the location of the Vault, but the knowledge that an ancestor of Ezio’s - Altaïr Ibn-La'Ahad - had once held a Piece of Eden. Knowing this, Abstergo kidnapped yet another descendant of Ezio and Altaïr, Desmond Miles. During his incarceration, Desmond spoke often with Dr. Vidic’s assistant Lucy Stillman about many things including his predecessor, then accessing private e-mails in-between Animus sessions, he learned even more. Later still, following Desmond’s escape from Abstergo and the beginning of his journeys through the memories of Ezio, the Assassins learned that Subject 16 had managed to hack the Abstergo Animus before his death, and placed twenty encrypted files, called glyphs, throughout the Animus' rendering of the memories. These hacks were saved onto the Abstergo Animus' memory core, which Lucy had taken in order to gain details and memory sequences on Ezio, and from there, onto Rebecca Crane's Animus 2.0.

After decrypting all twenty files, the Assassins were rewarded with a genetic memory dated "date classified BCE." The video, shows two free-runners climbing a large glass structure, Piece of Eden in hand; before referring to one another as Adam and Eve. The video also shows humans working for Those Who Came Before.

Subject 16's puzzles return in Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood in the form of Cluster puzzles hidden in Rifts. After completing the puzzles, a video reveals the message "The miracle is in the execution," suggesting that (unlike the video hidden in the previous game) the Cluster puzzles instead concealed an executable file. Upon accessing it, Desmond will then be uploaded to an unknown area within the Animus, where he is free to run through a somewhat long virtual maze similar to those within the Animus Virtual Training Program. At the end of the maze, Desmond finds a hologram (partially broken and made of computing code) of Subject 16, who tells Desmond that all hope is lost, and to go to Eden to find a woman named Eve. Before leaving, he tells Desmond to "find me in the darkness."

Dialogue
Trivia
*In the non-canon Assassin’s Creed - French Graphic Novel, Subject 16 is shown to be alive, and is referred to as "Michael."
*Many of the Glyphs have minor, hidden messages in them. All of the decoded ones are stated in the Glyphs page.
*The achievement/trophy for Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood titled ".. .- -- .- .-.. .. ...- ." translates to "I AM ALIVE." This achievement/trophy is earned by solving all of Subject 16's puzzles.
*Due to this achievement/trophy, it is rumored that he is indeed alive and is one of the men that put Desmond back in the animus at the end of Assassin's Creed Brotherhood. Although this has not been proven.
}}

Rebecca Crane is one of the modern day Assassins introduced in Assassin's Creed II. She is the creator of the Animus 2.0 - which she affectionately refers to as "Baby" - and provides technical support for the Assassins alongside her partner, Shaun Hastings. She appears to be an old friend of Lucy Stillman, although, prior to the game, the two purportedly did not see one another for seven years, perhaps due to Lucy's internment at Abstergo.

In Assassin's Creed II, Rebecca serves as tech support for the Animus 2.0. She often leaves notes within the database entries that Shaun makes available for Desmond Miles while he is in the Animus, especially if the entries (i.e. about a particular structure) indicate the presence of a Glyph or Assassin's Tomb therein. The data module that Rebecca receives from Lucy with the records of the Abstergo version of the Animus allow Desmond to interact with the encrypted files Subject 16 left behind in Ezio Auditore da Firenze's memories.

Biography
It is unknown whether Rebecca is a "proper" Assassin like Desmond and Lucy. She makes allusions, but nothing is ever conclusively said about the nature of her place in relation to the Assassins. She did, however, play an important role in inducting Shaun Hastings into the Order. When Shaun, with his gifts for connection and conspiracy, endangered his own life by trying to tell the world what Abstergo was up to, Rebecca saved him from Templar silencers, and recruited him as an Assassin.

Assassin's Creed II
In Assassin's Creed II, Rebecca monitors the Animus to make sure nothing goes wrong (such as what happened at the start of the first Assassin's Creed). She will often provide a comment relating to being at the top of most rather tall buildings, such as remarking that "the view must be great" from the top of a church, or that she thinks Desmond is itching to get to the top of a bell tower.

Aside from providing technical support for the Animus, and her small segments of banter with Shaun and Desmond, Rebecca doesn't play a significant story role until the end of the game, when she helps Shaun pack up the Animus gear while Desmond and Lucy defend their location from Abstergo. As they escape into a truck, she is able to get the Animus working inside it, which allows Desmond to re-enter the Renaissance and finish any remaining memories while on the way to their second base up North. This consequently allows the player to finish up any Side Missions and plot elements they may have missed, such as Races, Assassin's Tombs and Feather collecting, to name a few.

Characteristics and personality
Rebecca is an energetic, somewhat immature young woman - despite the fact that she saved his life, Shaun Hastings is quick to belittle and gibe at her. She is tolerant and optimistic, representing Shaun's foil - she is the polar opposite of her colleague, friendly and talkative. She shows great pride in her work, praising her redesign of the Animus as having a far more enlightened and creative construct; a "competitive edge" as she calls it. She also remains convinced that, despite Shaun's dubiousness of their means, the Assassins are, as Desmond puts it, "the good guys."

Trivia
*When in the Animus 2.0, Rebecca adds information to the database using the name REBECCAC84. This username holds her first name, the initial of her last name, and possibly her birth year. This may mean that she was 28 as of 2012.
*When Lucy Stillman and Desmond Miles first enter the hideout, Rebecca greets Lucy happily and exclaims: "It's been so long... Seven years!" This means that the last time the two friends saw each other was in 2005.
*In Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood, she appears to have put on make-up, unlike in Assassin's Creed II.
*It is shown when Desmond is eating a burger in Monteriggioni that she is a vegetarian after yelling out, "Carnivore" when she spotted him eating.
*It was revealed in Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood that she had another job before working with the Assassins. This job was then revealed to be a snowboarder, but she had to quit because she broke her leg.
Desmond Miles (born 1987) is the main protagonist of the main installments in the Assassin's Creed series and the descendant of a long line of ancestors who swore their allegiance to the Assassin Order. He is initially forced to use a machine, called the Animus, created by Abstergo Industries – the modern front of the Knights Templar – to relive the memories of his ancestor, Altaïr Ibn-La'Ahad during the Crusader era, in their quest to locate the "Apple", a Piece of Eden.

Eventually escaping with the aid of modern day Assassins, Desmond once again uses an Animus (now improved to the Animus 2.0) to explore the memories of his second ancestor, Ezio Auditore, so as to learn the ways of the Assassins in a much faster way than normal.

Biography
Desmond Miles was born in an Assassin "hideout" in the desert known as "The Farm", an "off the grid" compound with a population of about thirty people, much like the city of Masyaf, where he was destined to be trained as an Assassin. He was frustrated by his parents' explicit instructions not to leave the compound, and believed them to be overly concerned and paranoid. On his 16th birthday, he finally fled, "wanting to see the rest of the world." He later told Lucy Stillman that he had no regrets over leaving his parents, because as far as he was concerned, they were little more than his "wardens", and to him the Farm was his "prison". After leaving the Assassin compound, he went into hiding for nine years. While keeping a low profile, he eventually became a bartender. Aware of the Knights Templar, and wanting to avoid both them and the Assassins, Desmond never used his real name and used only cash to purchase items. However, he was eventually found, traced through a fingerprint needed for a motorcycle license, and was brought to the Abstergo laboratory.
Kidnapped by Abstergo
I'm not an assassin&hellip; not any more.

In September 2012, Desmond Miles was kidnapped by Abstergo Industries, a pharmaceutical company and front for the Knights Templar, for use as a test subject in the Animus, a device that can read the memories of Desmond's ancestors through the "genetic memory" left behind in their descendants' DNA. At first, Warren Vidic attempted to pry the information he wanted from Desmond's mind, but was met with failure. Whilst Desmond claimed to be nothing more than a bartender, Vidic revealed that they knew of his history as an Assassin, forcing Desmond to finally admit his past life. Vidic and Lucy Stillman told Desmond that they were trying to access a certain memory, but Desmond's subconscious was resisting their efforts. Vidic warned Desmond that if he refused to assist them, they would induce a coma, continue their work, and when done with Desmond, leave him to die. Without much choice, Desmond agreed to help them.

Desmond was made to explore the genetic memories of his ancestor Altaïr – a member of a clan of Assassins active during and after the Crusades, specifically Altaïr's experiences during the year 1191 – and does so over several days under the watchful eye of Vidic. During the nights however, Desmond discovered that he was able to explore the lab he was being held in, accessing the Animus computer and, after stealing Warren Vidic's pen, gaining access to his personal computer. Through e-mails, Desmond learned of the previous Animus subject, Subject 16, who had suffered from a "bleeding effect" due to prolonged exposure to the Animus, as well as tidbits of information from the outside world. Eventually, with the aid of Lucy, the Assassins learned of Desmond's capture and attempted to liberate him, with the gunfire of their assault being heard through an intercom device, although the rescue attempt failed. Vidic boasts that those Assassins were in fact the last of the group he escaped from at 16; their desert hideout having been previously destroyed. Lucy's actions, however, suggested otherwise, and when Desmond asked if Lucy knew anything about his parents, she responded by saying that she didn't know, but that they probably escaped. During this discussion, Lucy revealed herself to be an undercover member of the Assassins. Desmond eventually achieved Vidic's goal and discovered the location of numerous Pieces of Eden. Executives of Abstergo Industries ordered his execution, but his life was saved by Lucy's intervention, who asked to keep Desmond alive in order to re-access his memories if need be. After the executives leave, Desmond suddenly accesses the "eagle vision" of his ancestor Altaïr, seeing Vidic and Lucy for their true allegiances, as well as countless scrawled messages and puzzles on the floor of the main laboratory.

Escape to the Hideout
Wait! Why aren't I following Altaïr? Oh, shit...
At the beginning of Assassin's Creed II, Desmond was still being held within the laboratory at Abstergo, continuing directly a couple hours after the last game. Lucy suddenly arrives, covered in blood and demanding Desmond to get into the Animus before Abstergo discovers what she'd done. Desmond, rather confused, agrees and manages to sync with the closest genetic match between himself and Subject 16 recorded in the Animus’ memory core. Inside the Animus, he experiences the birth of another of his ancestors, Ezio Auditore. He instantly gets pulled out though, and both make their escape.

They were quickly spotted by Abstergo security and after Lucy locked a door to keep the security guards from getting to them, they turned the corner and were forced into an engagement with two more which Lucy quickly ended, allowing them to continue on stealthily. The two soon entered a glass elevator that led down to a large open room filled with office blocks that housed a large number of Animi. Following Lucy through the maze-like walkways between the Animi to avoid the guards patrolling the room they stealthily made their way through to the back, although Desmond's questions about the Animi are met with silence and Lucy telling him to "shut the fuck up...please." Upon reaching the keycode locked door of another elevator, Lucy tried to enter a code but failed, to which Desmond instinctively called upon his recently activated Eagle Vision to see the code and after successfully entering it. Lucy questions Desmond about how he knew what code to enter, which he could not give a proper answer, showing his obliviousness to the Bleeding Effect as they safely entered the elevator and rode it down. Once in the car park underneath the building, the two were halted by yet more of Abstergo's guards, but were able to overcome them and escape.

Arriving at one of the Assassins' hideout's, Desmond was introduced to two more Assassins – Shaun Hastings and Rebecca Crane – who have worked with Lucy over the years. Lucy told Desmond that they wanted him to become trained in the ways of the Assassin – thanks to the bleeding effect, they could achieve this in a matter of days – although it required him learning the ways of an Assassin through the ancestor that Desmond had synched with Subject 16 to find in Abstergo's Animus, Ezio Auditore. Desmond agrees to help almost immediately, which surprised Lucy, and was quickly plugged in the Animus 2.0.

After learning the ways of the Assassin through Ezio's memories, Desmond was retracted from the Animus, partly to test his retention of the memories, but also to prevent the mental degradation that Subject 16 had suffered from being in the Animus for an extended period of time.

Tasking him with initiating security protocols around the Assassin hideout, Lucy left it to Desmond to work out how to reach them through the use of his Eagle Vision and new-found Free Running skills. Just as he began, however, he started suffering vivid hallucinations of the Crusader era and the Italian Renaissance. At first the visions were short, and were nothing to worry about, but after completing the task, Desmond was incapacitated as the visions became more real.

Taken back to Acre by the bleeding effect, Desmond once again followed the memories of Altaïr, this time without the use of the Animus, and discovered Altaïr and Maria Thorpe conceived a child, Desmond's next ancestor after Altaïr.

The next day, Desmond had recovered from the experiences and returned to the Animus, neglecting to tell the Assassins what had happened. He continued to watch the genetic memories of Ezio Auditore, despite at one time being thrown out by "corrupted memory sequences". Eventually, they learn that Ezio's arch-nemesis, the Grand Master of the Knights Templar, Rodrigo Borgia had, in 1492, become Pope Alexander VI, so as to gain access to yet another Piece of Eden, the Papal Staff, as well as to access the Vault. As Ezio's story began to conclude, Desmond and the Assassins watched deep within the Vault beneath the Vatican. Ezio found himself confronted by a "god" hologram who called herself Minerva; Minerva warns the Assassins of the end of the world, as well as retelling the story of the war between "Those Who Came Before," and their human subjects. The Assassins are shocked when Minerva addresses Desmond by name, confusing even Ezio, and it is revealed that Minerva was in fact talking to Desmond through Ezio. Mere moments after, Desmond was quickly pulled out of the Animus, and upon seeing the three rushing to collect their belongings, realized that the Templars had found their location.

Immediately after getting out of the Animus, Lucy tossed Desmond a Hidden Blade with the Assassin's emblem on it, and asks for his assistance in covering the escape. Making their way into the warehouse, Vidic appeared, flanked by Abstergo security officials with the intent of reclaiming Desmond. The two Assassins killed the Templars that assaulted them, with Desmond – now fully synchronized with Ezio – masterfully using his Hidden Blade to kill many of the guards himself. With his entourage eliminated, Vidic was left to confront Desmond on his own, but instead retreats, promising that their victory is only temporary. The four Assassins then fled north, and Desmond is hooked up to the Animus inside the van and told to continue to search through his memories for anything useful. Meanwhile, the other Assassins begin to discuss the nature of Minerva and her talk.

Monteriggioni
After the Abstergo attack at the end of Assassin's Creed II, the modern day assassins traveled to Monteriggioni in Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood to set up their new base. The Templars were actively searching for them and were analyzing the environment using cell phone towers, so they had to set up underground under the Villa Auditore. Whilst searching the grounds of the Villa Auditore for a way into the Sanctuary, Desmond – through the bleeding effect – saw a vision of the past of Ezio, who led him to a high, narrow ledge and leaped off. Desmond immediately followed suit, performing his first-ever Leap of Faith into a bale of hay. Desmond and Lucy made their way to the Sanctuary underground via a tunnel used by Ezio and the villagers of Monteriggioni to escape after the attack. Through the bleeding effect Desmond saw Ezio and the villagers escape, which worried him, making him wonder what would happen "if (he) can't stop the visions – how long until (he) started painting symbols on the walls". Lucy scolded him, telling him not to make light of his condition, and reminded him that Subject 16 was dead, and that he needed to focus. Desmond and Lucy used glow sticks to see in the tunnel, due to the lack of power. By this time, Desmond was wearing a Hidden Blade with three straps attaching it to his arm, he wore no bracer with it.

When he reached the Sanctuary, he saw another projection of Ezio who seemed to have visited it in his old age. Before he opened the door to Mario's office, Desmond noticed some numbers written on the walls which he pointed out to the other assassins. After the team set up underground, he became in charge of bringing electricty into the Sanctuary by inserting something into four electrical power boxes. After that, he continued with his regular Animus sessions.

After a while in the Animus, Desond and the others learn that the Apple of Eden is hidden under the Colliseum. Desmond then tries to find a way for the others to get inside. Once they meet up again, Desmond activates a elevator that takes them to the apple. He then takes the apple and Minerva takes control of Desmonds body and forces him to kill Lucy Stillman, because Minerva needed a sacrafice to be awoken.

Characteristics and personality
Desmond has an uncanny resemblance to both Altaïr Ibn-La'Ahad and Ezio Auditore da Firenze, despite having very little in common with their personalities. And being a discreet individual, he does not wear extravagant clothing, accustomed to a white hooded jacket, jeans, and black sneakers. Interestingly, if raised, the hood exhibits a beak-like feature similar to Ezio's and Altaïr's. In Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood, his attire differs, now having a backpack, no eagle beak on hood, black converses, white hooded jacket with a red collar, similar to Ezio, with a black shirt sporting an image of an eagle underneath. His sleeves are rolled up to reveal a tattoo where the Hidden Blade should be.

Desmond was a gruff and cynical individual, who held a serious outlook on life, due to being aware of the Templars and Assassins since his youth, although he was initially unaware of Abstergo Industries being a Templar company. Despite this, he was not above jesting about his situation, and would occasionally make jokes, although they rarely elicited a good reaction. After his emancipation from Abstergo, Desmond's demeanor became considerably more relaxed, and he spent a noticeable amount of time conversing with Lucy. After experiencing the Bleeding Effect, he is more doubtful of his sanity, as with what happened to Subject 16.

Equipment and skills
Being that Desmond was trained during childhood as an Assassin, he was proficient in basic reconnaissance skills, such as eavesdropping and pickpocketing, and was also a competent fist fighter. After about a week of being forced to relive the memories of his ancestor, Altaïr, Desmond began to experience the bleeding effect, and developed an extra-sensory ability called Eagle Vision. Later on, after willingly exploring the memories of another ancestor, Ezio Auditore, Desmond learned how to free-run and use weapons. Not long afterwards, he was able to easily fend off a Templar attack with Ezio's combat skills.

Since synchronizing with Ezio, Desmond has been able to use all of the skills and abilities his ancestor could, both within the Animus and in real life.

Trivia
*He is modeled after Francisco Randez and voiced by Nolan North. Curiously, Randez also used to be a bartender before he became a model. This may have inspired the makers of the game to give Desmond the same profession.
*Desmond possesses the same scar on his lip as his ancestors Altaïr and Ezio had, though it is unknown how he obtained it.
*Desmond and Altaïr share the same age during the first game, both being 25 years of age in 2012 and 1191 respectively.
*Desmond is a descendant of Those Who Came Before and Humans. Proof of this is his Eagle Vision, product of the unification of those two races, which also led to the birth of the first "Assassins", Adam and Eve.
*Desmond has an A+ blood type.
*Desmond's history shows he never wanted to be an Assassin, nor does he have the skills yet before the second game to be one. However in the graphic novel, included with the limited edition of Assassin's Creed, he does call himself an Assassin and shows skills of stealth and lethality.
*Desmond acquires a Hidden Blade at the conclusion of Assassin's Creed II. The original owner of the blade is uncertain, but it is identical the one Ezio Auditore inherited from his father, Giovanni Auditore. By Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood however, he seems to have gotten rid of the bracer, and kept the blade.
*The etymology of Desmond's name "the world" (or "man of the world" in Celtic and Latin) is not related to either of his ancestors, whereas Altaïr's and Ezio's names pertain to avians; Altaïr's being "the flying one" and Ezio's "eagle". His surname "Miles" is also the Latin word for "soldier". The name however suits him, as he wanted to leave his parents' watchful eyes to see the rest of the world outside the compound, and refers to his role in saving it from destruction.
*Desmonds appearance changes significantly in Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood – The design of his hoodie has changed – most noticeably, the hood itself now appears larger, there is a closed zipper down the top of the hood, and the inside lining is red, similar to Ezio's Master Assassin Robes. The zipper down the front is partly undone, revealing a gray shirt with what appears to be an eagle design. His sleeves are rolled up, revealing a black band on his right wrist, and tattoos on his left forearm which are obscured by his hidden blade. He now wears a courier bag, as well as the same hidden blade from Assassin's Creed II, however the hidden blade is now without a bracer. Judging from pictures, he grows a beard during the course of the game, similar to Ezio's.

Desmond, rather confused, agrees and manages to sync with the closest genetic match between himself and Subject 16 recorded in the Animus’ memory core.

The Vault was a large chamber constructed by Those Who Came Before, located beneath the Sistine Chapel in the Vatican, in order to transmit a warning to Desmond Miles in the year 2012.

Entering The Vault
It appears that the only way to enter The Vault is by combining two Pieces of Eden, held by a chosen descendant of Those Who Came Before, who is most likely a member of the bloodline of Altaïr Ibn-La'Ahad. Recognized as "The Prophet," Ezio Auditore was able to enter The Vault by using the Staff in conjunction with the Apple of Eden. Despite attempting to use the same two Pieces of Eden, Rodrigo Borgia was unable to enter The Vault.

Inside The Vault
The floors, walls and pillars of The Vault were covered in glyphs that only appeared to Ezio as he moved toward them for as Those Who Came Before knew, he possessed Altaïr's supernatural gift of Eagle Vision, and was therefore deemed worthy to see the images as The Prophet. It was thought by Rodrigo Borgia, now the Pope at the time, that The Vault contained God himself. Unbeknown to all, The Vault instead contained a holographic projector. Minerva, who appeared through this device, explained that she was part of a highly advanced race that existed before mankind, Those Who Came Before . She explained that her race had created humans, but had soon faced rebellion thereafter. Glyphs on the wall confirmed this, showing an Egyptian hieroglyphic with a god holding a Piece of Eden as humans charged toward him with weapons.

According to Minerva, the Temples were built by "those who knew to turn away from war," presumably those who did not fight or did not want to fight in the war between the humans and Those Who Came Before. The reason for this was an unknown catastrophe, presumably a large solar flare, that significantly damaged the Earth and killed off most of both species. Those in the Temples worked to protect the world, and Minerva has tasked Desmond Miles (speaking to him through Ezio) with locating the other Temples to avert another cataclysm.

Minerva's speech
thumb|left|300px|Minerva's Message to Desmond

<blockquote>"When we were still flesh, and our homes still whole, your kind betrayed us... We who made you. We who gave you life. We were strong but you were many, and both of us craved war. So busy were we with earthly concerns, we failed to notice the heavens, and by the time we did, the world burned until naught remained but ash. It should have ended then and there, but we built you in our own image. We built you, to survive, and so we did. Few were our numbers, your kind and mine. It took sacrifice, strength, compassion, but we rebuilt, and as life returned to the world, we endeavored to ensure this tragedy could not be repeated. But now, we are dying, and time will work against us. Truth turned into myth and legend. What we built, misunderstood. Let my words preserve the message and make a record of our loss. But let my word also bring hope. You must find the other temples, built by those who knew to turn away from war. They worked to protect us, to save us from the fire. If you can find them, if their work can be saved, so too might this world. Be quick, for time grows short, and guard against the cross, for there are many who will stand in your way.</blockquote>

<blockquote>It is done. The message is delivered. We are gone now from this world, all of us. We can do no more... The rest is up to you, Desmond."</blockquote>

Minerva's message implies that the Temples contain some sort of assistance or research in saving the world from a repeat of the catastrophe that occurred before.

Notes
*During Minerva's speech, a glyph of step pyramids, with what appears to be a Piece of Eden hovering over it, appears on the wall. This could mean that another Temple is possibly a structure located in South America, a ziggurat in Mesopotamia, or even the ancient Temple of Borobudur in Indonesia.
*The logo of Abstergo Industries can be seen in the Vault, on some of the walls.
*The Vault in Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood appears to have changed greatly; the floor seems to have a new shiny glass like look, the pillar-like designs are now blue and also give off a blue light, and different symbols cover the walls.
This could mean that another Temple is possibly a structure located in South America, a ziggurat in Mesopotamia, or even the ancient Temple of Borobudur in Indonesia.
*The logo of Abstergo Industries can be seen in the Vault, on some of the walls.
*The Vault in Assassin's Creed:Brotherhood appears to have changed greatly; the floor seems to have a new shiny glass like look, the pillar-like designs are now blue and also give off a blue light, and different symbols cover the walls.
