In 2016, he was apparently executed, but survived with the help of [[Abstergo Industries]], who captured Callum to have him relive the memories of Aguilar in an [[Animus]], in an attempt to find an [[Apples of Eden|Apple of Eden]]. Through reliving Aguilar's memories, the Apple was discovered to be buried with [[Christopher Columbus]] and was soon retrieved by [[Alan Rikkin]] and other [[Templars]].

Soon after the Apple was found, Callum and captured [[Assassins]] including [[Moussa]] and [[Lin]] escaped from Abstergo Industries. Later, while Alan was giving a speech, Callum killed him and retrieved the Apple of Eden, afterwards rejoining Moussa and Lin and accepting his place as an Assassin.

==Biography==
As a child in 1986, Lynch was forced to watch his mother's murder. He has been on the run ever since, living on the fringes of society. This shrouded his heritage from him.<ref>[https://www.familytreedna.com/assassinscreed/#inside Assassin's Creed DNA]</ref>

He grew up to be a criminal himself and was scheduled to be executed after he killed a pimp.
