I wanted to quote a comment I saw in an article

"All the conspiracy theory of how the Templar influenced everything is gone now. that was in my eyes what truly made the series stand out. they were great action games that also appealed to those of us who like to puzzle. not a mandatory requirement to finish the game, but a welcome addition if you wanted to wring out more story."

I do hope they bring back the feeling of conspiracy and investigation like from Assassin's Creed II. Like seeing Templar meetings and conversations. I don't think glpyhs would make much such sense now but something to that effect would be cool. So do you guys miss these aspects and hope they bring it back?

I don't know why some people are crying about multiplayer being taken away, I mean it was not that great after Assassin's Creed Brotherhood. Give co-op a chance it seems really exciting, if you play with good players, and c'mon that cat and mouse thing was getting kinda boring and people never even played it the way it was supposed to be and if you did you would not do that great. Furthermore, pretending to be a NPC barely even worked most of the time, but I hope they have special characters to assassinate in place of the multiplayer characters in singleplayer like the barber, doctor, etc.
