Similar to its predecessor, ''[[Assassin's Creed: Revelations]]'' includes a multiplayer portion, which features a variety of multiplayer personas for the player to choose between and the option to customize their appearance and weapons. Like ''[[Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood]]'', many multiplayer characters will be featured in the main storyline.

However, multiplayer characters play a bigger part than in ''Brotherhood'', and in some cases, characters may actually need to be fought, found, or assassinated in the single-player game in order to unlock them for use in multiplayer.

He carries a short sword.
