Adéwalé (1692 – unknown) was a former slave-turned-pirate from Trinidad, and later a member of the Assassin Order.

During the early 18th century, he served as Edward Kenway's quartermaster aboard the Jackdaw, before eventually assuming the captaincy of his own vessel, the Victoire, and later the Experto Crede, in 1735. That year, he briefly set aside his duties as an Assassin in order to aid the Maroon rebellion on Saint Domingue.

He was the grandfather of the Assassin Eseosa, and is an ancestor to Milton Jones.

Biography
Early years and meeting Edward Kenway
Born into slavery on Trinidad, Adéwalé recognized the inequality, discrimination and oppression visited down upon those who worked the sugar plantations. When he was able, he broke free of his captivity, killing his guard in the process, and fled. Eventually, after many years on the run, Adéwalé was captured by the Spanish and locked aboard a Spanish galleon destined for Spain.

He found himself chained alongside the pirate Edward Kenway, who was also destined for Spain. Together, the two broke free of their bonds and, after incapacitating a number of guards, proceeded to procure themselves a ship – in the process freeing a number of likewise captured pirates.

Adéwalé chose a relatively small brig named El Dorado to make their escape, which was made all the more difficult by a sudden, powerful storm that struck the Spanish Treasure Fleet. Ultimately, they managed to escape, while the remaining eleven ships in the fleet sank to the bottom of the sea.

Life of piracy
With a ship in their possession, which Edward renamed the Jackdaw, the two pirates decided to head to Nassau, a town that played host to a large number of pirates. Upon their arrival, Adéwalé met with the pirates Benjamin Hornigold, Edward Thatch and James Kidd, before returning to the ship in order to organize the crew his captain recruited.

During his time on the Jackdaw, Adéwalé served Edward diligently, ensuring the ship was in a seaworthy condition, keeping the crew organized and, wherever possible, pointing out locations and ships of interest. However, he became disillusioned with his captain's behavior over time, as Edward was more interested in the pursuit of spoils than in the democratic ideals of the Pirate Republic. Adéwalé was also distrustful of Bartholomew Roberts, whom Edward began interacting with regularly in his search for the legendary Observatory.

In 1720, after five years as the Jackdaws quartermaster, Adéwalé accompanied Edward on a voyage to Long Bay, Jamaica led by Roberts, who claimed it was the location of the Observatory. While Edward and Roberts took to land, Roberts' crew attacked the Jackdaw and attempted to overtake her. Adéwalé took control of the ship and sailed her to safety, regretful for abandoning his captain, but believing he made the right choice.

Joining the Assassins
Adéwalé had first encountered the Assassins in 1717, when Edward visited the Assassin headquarters in Tulum on the request of James Kidd. He saw in them people who fought for something greater than themselves, which he greatly respected.

It was only in 1720 that Adéwalé returned to Tulum and requested a meeting with the Mentor of the Caribbean Assassins, Ah Tabai. After speaking with the Mentor about the nature of the Assassin Order, Adéwalé began to believe it to be a calling that suited him. He then joined the Assassins, becoming a student to Ah Tabai, and began searching for the whereabouts of his old captain.

Several months later, word reached Tulum that Edward had been imprisoned in Port Royal, along with Mary Read and Anne Bonny. Adéwalé helped Ah Tabai to plot their rescue; while Mary died inside the prison, Ah Tabai was able to rescue both Edward and Anne. Adéwalé then traveled to Kingston to hand control of the Jackdaw back to Edward, and push his former captain onto a new path. From there, Adéwalé returned to Tulum to assist in repelling Templar attacks.

Not long after his arrival, he was once again joined by Edward, who had elected to entertain the possibility that he could better himself as a member of the Assassins. Together, the two pirates fought alongside Ah Tabai and his Assassins to stave off the latest Templar attack.

Two years later, Adéwalé traveled with Ah Tabai to the Observatory, where Edward had journeyed in order eliminate the Templar Grand Master, Laureano de Torres y Ayala. Upon their arrival, they found Laureano dead, and Edward standing before the Observatory's armillary sphere, with the Crystal Skull that powered the device in hand.

Sometime later, Adéwalé, Ah Tabai, Anne, and Edward met once again on Great Inagua. There, Adéwalé informed Edward that one of his previous targets, Woodes Rogers, had survived the attempt on his life and returned to England. Before his own departure to England, Edward granted the Assassins full access to the manor on the island, as compensation for the fact that the location of the Assassin camp in Tulum was known to the Templars.

Crash on Saint-Domingue
Thirteen years later, in 1735, Adéwalé was captain of the brig Victoire. He was tasked with eliminating a French admiral and Templar, whose ship was passing by Saint-Domingue. The Victoire engaged the French galleon and disabled it, possibly even sinking it, and from the wreckage obtained a parcel meant for Bastienne Josèphe. Shortly thereafter, the Victoire was surrounded by a French fleet and forced to flee through an approaching storm in order to escape.

Despite her crew escaping in time, the Victoire was wrecked and Adéwalé found himself washed ashore near the town of Port-au-Prince. It was here that he found himself confronted once again with the realities of the slave trade, which was increasingly prevalent in the French colony.

Within moments of waking, Adéwalé was forced to save a fleeing slave from her overzealous overseer, cutting him down with a machete he found on the beach. Saved, the woman told Adéwalé where he could find Bastienne, the Madame of a local brothel. Upon locating her, Adéwalé was reluctant to hand over the Templar parcel, and so she directed him to find Augustin Dieufort, who could be found by speaking with Bastienne's contact on a nearby plantation.

Locating the contact, Adéwalé was directed to the headquarters of the Maroon rebellion; upon his arrival, he found the resistance fighters being cut down by a contingent of overseers who had managed to locate them. Adéwalé killed the overseers, and managed to prevent any from escaping with knowledge of the hideout's location. He then went to speak with Dieufort, who offered the Assassin new equipment and upgrades in exchange for helping liberate any slaves he could, before returning to the Brotherhood.

Supporting the Maroon rebellion
With the aid of a number of recently freed slaves, Dieufort convinced Adéwalé to capture a docked slave ship, the Experto Crede in order to free en-masse the slaves held beneath its deck. Following this, Adéwalé claimed the Crede as his own, and agreed to train Dieufort, his new Quartermaster, in the ways of navigation and sailing, so that he might take the ship following Adéwalé's departure.

Returning to Bastienne, Adéwalé was tasked with infiltrating Governor Pierre de Fayet's mansion, in order find out why the governor had recently become so strict in his enforcement of the Code Noir.

Infiltrating the manor's grounds disguised as a slave, Adéwalé discovered that the governor had hired a scientist named Louis Godin to map the circumference of the Earth, so as to provide the French with an accuracy of knowledge far surpassing that of its national rivals. Adéwalé became intrigued; as a sailor the knowledge of navigation fascinated him, and he knew well that if the Assassins possessed such information, they would hold a significant advantage over their Templar rivals. Bastienne, however, was disgruntled with what little Adéwalé had learned about the expedition, and dismissed him.

Eventually, Bastienne's anger subsided; in order to help the Maroon and fulfill her promise to Augustin, she supplied a forged manifest listing the names of three literate slaves, which the expedition needed to take notes. Adéwalé swapped the manifest, and saw the French merchant ship off from port. He quickly noticed the waiting pirate fleet however, and was forced to defend the Vautour from them.

Pursuit of the slave ship
Two years after Adéwalé's arrival, the French were in a panic over the increasingly strong resistance, and the number of slaves being liberated by them. In response to this, the French had begun to impose stricter curfews, harsher and more frequent punishments. Adéwalé considered this a small price to pay, however, for the ultimate goal of Maroon independence. Angry, he left Bastienne where she stood and set to sea in order to liberate yet another slave ship. This time however, the ship's French escort opened fire on her, disabling the ship and forcing her into a slow sink.

Adéwalé went aboard the severely damaged the slave ship and rescued as many slaves as he could; eventually it sank with Adéwalé still below deck, and he was forced to swim and then climb his way through the now vertical ship in order to escape.

On nearby Cumberland Bay, Adéwalé joined Augustin and Bastienne in burying those slaves that had not escaped the vessel's sinking. Adéwalé vowed to kill De Fayet, claiming his Creed demanded it, and that it would give an entire generation of warriors hope.

Assassination of de Fayet
In 1737, Adéwalé located the French governor in the grounds of his manor, torturing slaves in order to locate the Maroon hideout, and the man freeing the slaves - Adéwalé. As he approached, Adéwalé was spotted and the governor fled through town. Despite an overwhelming number of French soldiers and overseers, Adéwalé eventually caught up with the governor and killed him with the very branding iron he had previously used to torture his slaves with.

With de Fayet dead, Adéwalé was forced to leave Port-au-Prince, since it was no longer safe for him, nor for the Maroons if Adéwalé remained. Before leaving, he said goodbye to Bastienne and finally gave her the package. He decided he must devote his energy to those who struggle for freedom using his conviction in his Creed to defend them along with anyone who helped him.

Later life
Some time later, Adéwalé returned to Port-au-Prince, where he shared a night of passion with Bastienne; she became pregnant and eventually bore a son. Adéwalé's son in turn had a child, Eseosa, who became an Assassin in his own right, and a participant in the Haitian Revolution.

Uberto Alberti (1416 – 1476) was the Gonfaloniere of Florence during the Renaissance, and a member of the Templar Order. Despite his reluctance, Uberto turned against his former allies Lorenzo de' Medici and the Auditore family.

Before his defection, Uberto was close friends with Giovanni Auditore da Firenze, though he personally authorized the arrest and execution of Giovanni and his family by order of the Templar Grand Master, Rodrigo Borgia, in exchange for the promises of his own family's financial wellbeing.

Personality and characteristics
Uberto was a confident man whose belief in himself and his power bolstered on becoming an ally of the Templars. Even so, all of his actions were manipulated by Rodrigo Borgia, who promised Uberto the wealth that he required to keep his family secure.

Because of this, Uberto carried out any of Rodrigo's demands, never defying him, even when he was asked to execute his close friend's family. However, Uberto kept his true allegiances to himself, never sharing it with the family he loved and cared for, in the hope that the cost for keeping them safe outweighed his guilt for his betrayal.

Trivia
*According to the Animus database, Uberto was not a Templar. However, Mario Auditore identified him as one when pressed by his nephew.
*During Uberto's database video, it could be seen that four ropes hung on the gallows in front of the Palazzo della Signoria, instead of the three shown in-game. Presumably, this fourth rope was meant for Ezio. The same picture has the Auditore in a different order, wearing slightly different clothes, hung above the stage, not dropped below it.
Uberto Alberti (1416 – 1476) was the Gonfaloniere of Florence during the Renaissance, and a member of the Templar Order.
Biography
Working with the Medici
Uberto advised both Giovanni and Lorenzo on certain matters, and was involved in an interrogation of one of Rodrigo Borgia's men regarding the pre-planned assassination of Galeazzo Maria Sforza. He was put in charge of decoding a letter Giovanni had intercepted in Venice, though after it was deciphered by Antonio Maffei, Uberto disposed of it as part of his agreement.

Uberto then had a copy of the letter, in its pre-deciphered state, made. From there, he then gave the letter to Giovanni and had him deliver it to Rome, in the Assassin's hopes of following the conspirator's trail. After the near escape of Rodrigo Borgia from Giovanni in Rome, Uberto was among those called to a meeting held by the Spaniard. Taking part alongside the other Templars, Uberto was informed that Giovanni had to be disposed of in order for their plans to succeed.

Auditore execution
Some time later, Ezio Auditore da Firenze stumbled upon Uberto in Giovanni's office, and while his father and the Gonfaloniere were conversing about something urgent, Ezio was dismissed by Giovanni before he could understand their discussion. Soon after, Giovanni sent Ezio on an errand to deliver a letter containing compelling evidence to Uberto, and Ezio swiftly made his way to Uberto's house.

Once Ezio arrived, Uberto asked the young Florentine noble if he would like to stay at his house, presumably with the intent of murdering him, though Ezio declined. Moments before Ezio left, he caught a glimpse of a shadowy figure, who was in fact Rodrigo Borgia; the man behind the events that were yet to come.

Subsequent to receiving the letter, Uberto warranted the arrest of Giovanni, Federico, Petruccio, and Ezio for the crime of treason, going against the letter's intention. Afterwards, on the day of the execution at the Piazza della Signoria, Giovanni angrily reminded Uberto of the evidence that had been given to him by Ezio which proved his family innocent, though Uberto purposely claimed that he had no recollection of such evidence, before sentencing the three to death.

At the sight of their demise, Ezio ran towards the stage with his sword, claiming that he would kill Uberto for what he had done, but a Brute guard disarmed him before he was able to get close enough. However, on the urging of some of Giovanni's friends, a thief and a courtesan, Ezio fled from the scene.

Upon his escape from the guards, Ezio met up with the Auditore housemaid Annetta, who directed him to go to her sister's house, near to the Duomo. Once there, Annetta's sister, Paola, taught Ezio the skills necessary to elude attention and assassinate Uberto, and kept his mother and sister safe until he had managed to do so.

Death
After a few days of training Ezio, Paola tracked down Uberto's location so that Ezio's act of vengeance could take place. Following this, Ezio followed Uberto to the Santa Croce cloister, where he was attending an art exhibition of Andrea del Verrocchio.

There, Uberto conversed with Lorenzo de' Medici about the executions, and subsequently insulted him on his way to the exhibition. After Ezio had dispatched the guards patrolling the courtyard of Santa Croce, Uberto spoke with various attending nobles, who lauded him for the executions. Afterwards, Uberto noticed Ezio's approach, but was too shocked to call the guards.

Seizing the opportunity, Ezio brutally killed Uberto with the Hidden Blade, stabbing him multiple times in the chest. Accompanying this, Ezio avenged his father and brothers' death, and proclaimed to everyone in attendance that the Auditore were not dead, with himself being alive and that his family's legacy lived on through him.

Personality and characteristics
Uberto was a confident man whose belief in himself and his power bolstered on becoming an ally of the Templars. Even so, all of his actions were manipulated by Rodrigo Borgia, who promised Uberto the wealth that he required to keep his family secure.

<span style="font-size:14px;">ce.</span>

Achilles Davenport (1710 – 1781) was the Mentor of the Colonial Brotherhood of Assassins from 1746 until 1763. A man of Caribbean and British descent, Achilles' tenure as leader of the Colonial Assassins saw the Brotherhood strengthen greatly.

After a large-scale attack on the Assassins by the Colonial Rite of the Templar Order in 1763, spanning the Thirteen Colonies, the Brotherhood collapsed and disbanded. Living in exile in his manor, Achilles abandoned the Assassin ideology until his meeting with the young Ratonhnhaké:ton, whom he started to train on the boy's behest. Achilles spent his final years guiding Ratonhnhaké:ton, and this tutelage led to his apprentice's important role in the American Revolution and the extermination of the colonial Templars.

Biography
Meeting Ratonhnhaké:ton
The world's moved on, boy. Best you do too.

In 1769, Achilles was chased by bandits seeking his property. While fleeing their pursuit, he yelled at Ratonhnhaké:ton, a young Kanien'kehá:ka boy, to move out of the way of his horse.

After fighting off the bandits, Achilles was greeted by the boy at his doorstep, who wished to be trained in the ways of the Assassins; Achilles coldly refused, dismissing him. Ratonhnhaké:ton, however, camped in the manor's stables for the night, and knocked on Achilles' door the next morning. Again, Achilles declined, angrily yelling at Ratonhnhaké:ton to leave, prompting the young man to go as far as climbing and attempting to enter the manor from the balcony. Achilles then approached Ratonhnhaké:ton, tripped him onto the floor with his walking cane, and warned him to give up his heroic pursuits or he would end up dead.

Stubbornly, Ratonhnhaké:ton departed and once again camped out in the stables. During the night, he encountered the bandits approaching onto Achilles' property and bravely combated them, though he was knocked to the ground and lay vulnerable. Despite refusing Ratonhnhaké:ton earlier, Achilles rescued the boy by stealthily killing the remaining robbers, and asked him to get rid of the bodies before he could come inside the manor to speak. There, Ratonhnhaké:ton explained that he was guided to find a symbol by a "spirit", eventually leading him to the old man's residence. Achilles in turn revealed that Ezio Auditore da Firenze was the one responsible for the First Civilization contacting the Assassins time and time again, before explaining the nature of the war between the Assassin Brotherhood and the Templar Order.

In the basement, Achilles revealed the portraits of the Templar conspirators: William Johnson, Jonathan Pitcairn, Thomas Hickey, Benjamin Church, Nicholas Biddle, Charles Lee, and the Grand Master Haytham Kenway, whom Ratonhnhaké:ton explained had fathered him with Achilles' Iroquois ally Kaniehtí:io. Achilles agreed to train Ratonhnhaké:ton, to assist him in becoming an Assassin, in order to ultimately eliminate the Templars who were aiming to seize control of the colonies.

Rebuilding the Homestead
After six months of rigorous physical and mental training, Ratonhnhaké:ton accompanied Achilles on a trip to Boston to gather materials for the manor's repairs. While in the streets, Achilles sent Ratonhnhaké:ton to a store to purchase items, also giving him the less conspicuous name "Connor," the namesake of his deceased son. Not long after, Achilles and Connor witnessed the Boston Massacre, instigated by Haytham and Charles Lee. Connor attempted to prevent the massacre, but was framed and became a wanted man. In response, Achilles asked Samuel Adams to find Connor, before he returned to the Davenport Homestead.

After Adams had helped Connor clear his name and take a ferry home, Achilles and Connor continued in their efforts of rebuilding the homestead. After six months of further training and lessons in learning the Assassin and Templar history, the Aquila was repaired and fit for setting sail; once he had been given nautical training by Robert Faulkner, Connor returned to the manor. Achilles then led Connor down to the manor's basement, in order to bestow upon him the Assassin robes that resided there.

Though Achilles admitted that the Order usually had a ceremony for such an occasion, neither he nor Connor seemed the type for such formality. Instead, after Connor had donned the robes, Achilles simply verbally welcomed him into the Brotherhood of Assassins.

Hunt for William Johnson
Connor, take care. These men are powerful.

Connor donned the Assassin robes and Achilles introduced him to rope darts, which the latter explained to be a tool that resulted from Shao Jun's time in China after meeting Ezio. Some time subsequently, Connor's close friend Kanen'tó:kon visited, revealing that William Johnson intended to purchase the Kanien'kehá:ka land and subjugate their people to relocate. An outraged Connor condemned this as little more than theft, though Achilles advised caution to his pupil, reminding him of how powerful the Templars were; Connor stated that he had no choice, as he had made a promise to protect his people and land. Reluctantly, Achilles instructed him to seek out Samuel Adams in Boston. To his annoyance however, Connor buried a hatchet in the post of the manor to signify the start of a war, though Achilles insisted that he could have used a tree.

As Connor departed, he came across an injured woman named Myriam, who he soon carried back to the mansion so Achilles could tend to her wounds. Connor then set forth to track down the poachers who attacked her, to which Achilles advised Connor use the rope dart he had just given him, to familiarize himself with it. After ridding the Homestead of the poachers, Achilles watched as Connor and Myriam reached a deal to establish hunting rights for the game on their land.

After his work in Boston was completed, which involved destroying a shipment of British tea that Johnson and the Templars had been smuggling to profit from taxation, Connor believed that this would stop the Templars and keep his land safe. However, Achilles warned Connor not to underestimate Templars' resourcefulness. Six months later, Connor set out and successfully assassinated Johnson, ending the Templar threat to steal the Kanien'kehá:ka land.

Beginning of the Revolution
In 1775, Connor was approached by a courier sent by Paul Revere, requesting his help. Connor declined, not considering himself part of the Patriots' struggle. However, Achilles urged Connor to go, since he would need their aid in assassinating John Pitcairn of the British Army, another Templar.

Achilles later requested that Connor retrieve his robes hidden in a cave on the Homestead, since Achilles himself was too frail to make the journey. Connor succeeded, to which Achilles explained that the robes originally belonged to the first Colonial Assassin, John de la Tour, who passed them down to Achilles. Connor joined the Patriots against the British Army, during which he fought in the Battles at Lexington and Concord, and successfully assassinated Pitcairn during the Battle at Bunker Hill. With Pitcairn's death, Connor discovered the Templar plot to murder George Washington.

Protecting Washington
Connor returned to the Homestead, where Achilles introduced Connor to Benjamin Tallmadge, an Assassin ally. Soon after, Connor traveled to New York to assassinate Thomas Hickey, in order to prevent the planned murder of Washington. However, Connor was imprisoned, framed for the attempted murder of Washington, and sentenced to death.

Hearing the news, Achilles and Connor's Assassin recruits, Stephane Chapheau, Duncan Little and Clipper Wilkinson, traveled to New York to rescue Connor. As Connor was escorted to the gallows by Hickey, Achilles approached Connor from the crowd, reminding him that he still had allies and only needed to signal them. Once called, one of Connor's recruits fired an arrow to sever the noose, though it frayed the rope, with the rope snapping sometime after due to outside interference. Achilles then handed Connor his tomahawk underneath the gallows and Connor surged forth and succeeded in killing Hickey, saving Washington in the process and proving his innocence.

Consequently, both Achilles and Connor traveled to Philadelphia, where Connor went to witness the signing of the Declaration of Independence and meet with Washington. While walking through Independence Hall, Achilles admitted to Connor that he was impressed by his accomplishments so far. However, he attempted to discourage Connor from revealing the Templars to Washington, concerned that it would only harm the Patriots' goal for freedom.

Connor's alliance with Haytham
Unfortunately, Achilles and Connor began to drift apart over the next few months, disagreeing over courses of action. While Connor believed he should tell Washington the truth of the Templar plots against him, Achilles argued the opposite, warning that such a misguided effort would only involve and endanger Washington and the lives of his men.

The argument came to a head in the winter of 1777, as Connor decided to inform Washington of the Assassins and Templars. Achilles lectured Connor, informing him that the Assassins were meant to be secretive in order to protect others. In turn, Connor criticized Achilles' inaction as a mentor and even blamed him for failing the Assassin Brotherhood and allowing the Templars to dominate the Colonies. Achilles, however, deplored Connor's actions, warning him that he would only lead people and the world to ruin. Ultimately, Connor decided not to tell Washington once he met with him at Valley Forge.

Connor would go on to hunt for Benjamin Church to recover stolen weapons and supplies for Washington. After which, he returned to the Homestead and apologized to Achilles for speaking against him unfairly, though Achilles did admit that he failed the Brotherhood. Connor also revealed that he had met his father, and despite their differences, he believed that an alliance and possibly further peace could be established.

Final days
{{Quote|So long as he lives, all are in danger. The same is true for your father. When you first came to me, you understood what had to be done. Swore you'd see it through.
By 1781, Achilles had been weakened by age, leaving him bedridden. Connor explained that Charles Lee had been disgraced, but Washington had spared him. Achilles stated that both Lee and Haytham had to die, despite Connor's continued insistence that without Lee, his father may be willing to ally with him. However, Achilles warned Connor not to be misguided by his emotions.

At some point before his death, Achilles requested Connor retrieve a painting from the burned remains of his home in New York. Connor returned, however, Achilles decided to not yet reveal and hang the painting until the time was right.

Death
Not long after Connor's errand, Achilles passed away quietly in his sleep. When Connor discovered his body, he also uncovered a note addressed to him in Achilles' handwriting. Written within, Achilles apologized for never being able to say goodbye to Connor properly, and also thanked him, expressing pride and gratitude in Connor for the community he had raised at the Homestead, which had given Achilles hope for the future of America and its people.

A funeral service was held on the hill, behind his manor overlooking the sea, next to the gravestones of his wife and son; this event was attended by all of the inhabitants of the Homestead that Connor had brought together. While others laid roses on his coffin, wrapped in the Davenport Homestead flag, Connor placed a feather on the casket, symbolizing the bond they shared as Assassins.

Following Achilles' passing, Connor inherited his robes, placed the painting of his family on the wall in the manor, and later attended to the grave to pay his respects, hoping that Achilles had found peace and the two would one day meet again.

Characteristics and personality
As a result of losing his family and for failing the Assassin Order under his leadership, Achilles lost his will to fight and became stoic and disillusioned in the Assassins' cause. When first meeting and training Ratonhnhaké:ton, Achilles was a strict, insensitive, and somewhat short-tempered man. He was quick to reprimand, discourage, and correct his naive and brash apprentice.

Connor possessed a highly romanticized and idealized view of the Assassins and his mission, believing that destroying the Templars would grant freedom to all of mankind. This was a strong contrast to Achilles' cynical but rational view of the world. As a result, Achilles often lectured Connor to warn him that his views and actions, while noble, were misguided and potentially dangerous. Connor would argue in disagreement and the two criticized each other on occasions.

Despite this, Achilles was not without heart, as he genuinely cared for Connor and took pride in his accomplishments; so much so that Achilles became an important father figure and mentor. Over the years, Achilles watched as the Homestead flourished into a thriving and loving community, giving Achilles a sense of hope for America's future.

Trivia
*At the Davenport manor, Connor could play games of Fanorona with Achilles. After his death, however, Father Timothy replaces Achilles as Connor's opponent.
*Achilles' nickname, "the Old Man on the Hill," is reminiscent of the moniker given to another Mentor in the Order, Rashid ad-Din Sinan: "the Old Man of the Mountain."
*Coincidentally, both Achilles and Altaïr Ibn-La'Ahad died similar deaths, in that both passed away peacefully in their base of operations, while sitting in a chair and holding something for another Assassin in their hands.
*In The Tyranny of King Washington: The Betrayal, the contents of a man fitting Achilles' description were being rooted through by two guards as Ratonhnhaké:ton escapes prison.
