Well, so ends that section. Pope Alexander VI did fall into a sort of state of depression after he found out about Jaun's death, and that he suspected his own sons to be the culprits. Heck, he went as so far as to publicly exonerate Jofré. What does that mean anyway?

Still, Vincenzo will soon make enemies with the entire Borgia family after what happened to Mario Auditore.

In 1754, the key was in the possession of the [[Assassin]] [[Miko]]. On the orders of [[Templars|Templar]] [[Grand Master]] [[Reginald Birch]], [[Haytham Kenway]] assassinated the man inside the {{Wiki|Theatre Royal (Covent Garden)|Theatre Royal}} in [[England|London]] and took the key from him. Upon Haytham's return to the Templar headquarters, Birch told Haytham that the key most likely opened a [[First Civilization]] storehouse in the [[United States|British colonies]]. As a result, Birch booked Haytham passage to [[Boston]], in order to find it and unlock its contents, and to establish a permanent Templar presence in colonial America.

In 1755, Haytham, with the help of [[Kaniehtí:io]] from the [[Kanien'kehá:ka]] tribe, located the entrance to the Grand Temple, but they were unable to access it, as he did not possess an [[Apples of Eden|Apple of Eden]] to open the first door. The day that Domenico first found out about the Assassin Order, his father, his father's patron [[Marco Polo]], and Dante were present. In the later 13th century, Dante was tasked with the training of [[Domenico Auditore]], a member of the [[House of Auditore|Auditore family]] of [[Florence]], and a descendant of a long line of Assassins.<ref name="AC2" />

The day that Domenico first found out about the Assassin Order, his father, his father's patron [[Marco Polo]], and Dante were present. Domenico was a sailor who carried cargo across the Atlantic and Mediterranea, thus, as Marco explained, Dante would train Domenico in the ways of the Order, in exchange for transport to [[Spain]].<ref name="AC2" />

Domenico's father explained to him that Dante had been tasked with delivering the Codex to Spain, and urged him to take on the responsibility instead.<ref name="AC2" />

Though Domenico lost his wife to pirates during his attempts to fulfill Dante's mission, he was able to scatter the pages of the Codex in the ship's cargo, and keep it safe from Templar hands.<ref name="AC2" />
