one of the glyphs titles was bloodlines..which some people believe indicates that altiar and ezio desend from both human and those who came before, which is why they can resist the powers of the apple alone... i think it would be cool if they used desmond to trace back to the people who came before to look through their memories and find out what exactly they are facing and how the pieces of eden can save them.
