To obtain it, [[Ezio Auditore da Firenze|Ezio]] must complete all of the [[Guild_Challenges#Thieves_Guild|challenges]] set by the [[Thieves]] Guild. This weapon can b[[File:La_Volpe's_Bite.jpg|thumb|left|La Volpe's Bite's hilt]]e found in Ezio's [[Tiber Island headquarters|Hideout]] on [[Tiber Island]] after doing so.

It maxes out all stats except for damage, making it one of the best one-handed weapons in the game. This weapon is actually [[Armand Bouchart]]'s blade from ''[[Assassin's Creed: Bloodlines]]'' and ''[[Assassin's Creed II]]''.

*La Volpe's Bite, like Maria's Dagger and several other weapons, is simply a renamed weapon. In ''Assassin's Creed II'', it was called "Bouchart's Blade", and can be unlocked via interconnectivity with ''Bloodlines'' from the PSP.
*The Assassins use a slightly unconventional style of wielding La Volpe's Bite. The sword is modeled on a [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Longsword European longsword] , which is traditionally taught as a two-handed weapon, even in the [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Italian_school_of_swordsmanship Italian school of swordsmanship] that Ezio would have had access to. The Assassins use it in the less common single-handed style.
