Ezio Auditore received a contract from [[Lorenzo de' Medici]] to find and assassinate the conspirators who were secretly gathering in [[Florence]]. The whereabouts of the meeting's location, however, was unknown.The only lead was one Conspirator who had scheduled an arrival at this meeting. Ezio was able to find the conspirator and cautiously pursued him while he moved through the streets.

The conspirator soon reached a small courtyard and passed a line of guards. Ezio realized that five men were attending the meeting. While either bypassing or barging through the Guards, the assassin began to execute the five targets. Some conspirators had daggers for self defense, but it wasn't enough to preclude their inevitable deaths. Once all the conspirators have died, Ezio escaped the scene and collected his reward.

'''Girolamo Riario''' (1443 – 1488) was the Lord of {{Wiki|Imola}} and [[Forlì]]. A member of the [[Templars|Templar Order]], Riario aided the [[House of Borgia|Borgia family]] in their attempts to conquer [[Italy]].

Riario was the nephew of [[Sixtus IV|Pope Sixtus IV]], and secured his power early in life using his connection to the church. In 1473, he was married to [[Caterina Sforza]], daughter of [[Galeazzo Maria Sforza]], the Duke of [[Milan]]. The couple resided in [[Rome]] during Sixtus' pontificate, where Riario gained a reputation for being one of the most ruthless nobles at court. After the death of the Pope's brother, Riario secured the titles of Lord of Imola and Forlì.

Riario became a prominent enemy of [[Lorenzo de' Medici]], leader of [[Florence]], and the latter contracted his [[Assassins|Assassin]] ally [[Ezio Auditore da Firenze]] to thwart several of Riario's plans in Forlì and [[Romagna]].

Until his death, Riario continued to work for the Templars, working on a map that detailed the locations of the pages of [[Altaïr Ibn-La'Ahad's Codex|Altaïr Ibn-La'Ahad's codex]]. In 1488, Riario's wife Caterina – an ally of the Assassin Brotherhood – hired [[Checco Orsi|Checco]] and [[Ludovico Orsi]] to murder her husband. The Orsi brothers infiltrated Riario's home, stabbed him to death, and looted his residence.

His son, [[Ottaviano Riario|Ottaviano]], succeeded him as Lord of Imola and Forlì, with Caterina Sforza serving as Regent.
