Uberto aids both Giovanni and Lorenzo by giving them advice but when Giovanni discovers possible evidence of the templars, Uberto gets rid of it, revealing his alligeance to the templars.

Ezio meets Uberto for the first time in Giovanni's office conversing about something urgent, though Ezio is dismissed by his father before he can understand what they were talking about. Soon, Giovanni sends Ezio with a letter containing evidence that he must give to Uberto. Ezio does as his father asks, swiftly making it to Uberto's house. Uberto immediately knows whats in the envelop and asks Ezio if he would like to stay at his house though he declines. Soon after receiving the letter, Uberto accuses [[Giovanni Auditore da Firenze|Giovanni]], [[Federico Auditore da Firenze|Federico]], [[Petruccio Auditore da Firenze|Petruccio]] and [[Ezio Auditore da Firenze|Ezio]] (Though he escapes because of his errands) of treason. At the day of the execution, Ezio reminds Uberto of evidence that proves his family innocent, but much to his suprise, Uberto confesses that he never retreived a letter, sentencing the three to death. With the sight of their deaths, Ezio promised he would kill him (Uberto) for what hes done, but Brute Guards disarmed Ezio before he could get close enough. Several days after the execution Paola, leader of the courtesans, tracked Uberto down for Ezio, giving him a chance of vengence. As Ezio dispatched the guards defending him, he brutally murdered Uberto with his hidden blade, avenging his father and brothers.

== Trivia ==

*Uberto saved the templars from many close calls by destroying evidence of their conspiracy and hindering their enemy's progress
*It should be noted that Ezio assassinates Alberti in a rather "sloppy" manner when you consider that he does so by stabbing the man with the hidden blade at least several times in the chest, rather than plunging the blade into his targets throat, which is the traditional assassination technique used by other assassins, including his ancestor Altair. Of course, this could be easily explained and understandable to most, since it is Ezio's first time tracking down a primary assassination target, and he has not been trained exstensively by that point.
