I live in Denmark but come from Africa and seeing what happent before Altair's time is something i would be very interested in like how the vikings tryed to take over the world. Plus if in stead of having anything to do with the templars and assassins(and sages) the vinkings would a force the two groupes would have a very hard time dealing with. Seeing as we only heard of vinkings in rouge this is very possible (i think,i hope). As for Africa I am sure there most a load of stuff to be found in it's history, though I don't know much about it.

You meet him the first time on a mission and you don't like him and likewise but you eventually gain respect for one another.

Or.

Instead of meeting for the first time on a mission, he tries to kill you on a mission at the beginning of the game because you are a templar or because you see him try to kill a very high ranking tamplar(possible the grand master) and you stop it and you are trown into the whole assassin-templar war.

You can actully put the two stories together.

How about having him as a member of the british assassin's and we get to see as he slowly changes into the serial killer who we'll have to kill ourself.

And he starts out as the guy how recruits you and is a master assassin(though that would be the same as in Unity) and is first in line to become the next mentor of the british assassin's but he goes crazy.

I admit that the other assassins are greater than Edward which makes me ask how good would Edward had been had he recived training from Ah Tabai. Everything we seen EVERYTHING we have seen Edward do it was of his own talent,experience an skill. Ah Tubai even had a respect of that so just imagine what he would have become had he put that together with learnings of the assassins.

Ubisoft shouldn't have killed some as talented as Edward. Oh, the potenial he had.
