}}Ezio, can you do me a little favour?

Petruccio Auditore da Firenze (1463 - 1476) was the youngest brother of Federico, Ezio and Claudia Auditore; the son of Maria Auditore and Giovanni Auditore da Firenze, an Assassin, Petruccio was destined to be trained in is father's ways upon coming of age. He was executed in 1476 as an accomplice to his father's "treason".

Biography
Pre-1476
Petruccio Auditore was a young Florentine nobleman living during the late 15th Century. His father, Giovanni Auditore da Firenze was a banker, but also in secret, an assassin, who would surreptitiously prepare Petruccio and his brothers for their future as assassins. However, Petruccio was consistenly ill, and was bed-ridden for much of the day.

Death and Legacy
In 1476, Petruccio asked his brother, Ezio, to retrieve some feathers for him, the reason for which he kept a secret. Ezio agreed, but informed his younger brother he must return to bed thereafter. The next day, Petruccio was arrested alongside his father and brother on a trumped-up charge of treason against the ruling Medici family; he was executed the day after.

Following the escape of Ezio, his mother and sister to Monteriggioni, Ezio begun his quest of vengence against the Knights Templar. Throughout the course of his journey Ezio collected a large number of feathers, which were strewn across northern Italy, and deposited them inside a chest in the Villa Auditore. After collecting fifty feathers, Ezio was given a large war hammer by his uncle; after collecting fifty more, Ezio received an cape embossed with the Auditore shield from his mother, who thanked him for not giving up on her; this was the first time she had spoken since the execution.

Trivia
*If Petruccio's profile at the Database is read, it states that he may have died from his "illness", although it is later revealed in the mission "Last Man Standing" that he was executed.
*Ezio's only interaction with him in the game is when Petruccio asks him to collect his feathers. After that he is only seen during "Last Man Standing" but you never talk to him ever again.
*He is the reason Ezio collects the hundred feathers in Assassin's Creed II. Although not mandatory, but if you collect 50 of the feathers you unlock a special hammer, and if you collect all 100 feathers you get the Auditore cape as well as Ezio's mother gratitude for remembering Petruccio.
*Just like Ezio and Claudia, he never knew that his father was an Assassin, although Ezio and Claudia discovered the secret later on.
*Interestingly when you look up Rodrigo's database video you find Petruccio hanging in the left-hand side and in different clothes.
*Throughout the entire game, it was never hinted why Petruccio actually needed the feathers.
It is a good life we live, brother.

Federico Auditore da Firenze was the eldest son of Giovanni Auditore and Maria Auditore, the older brother of Ezio, Claudia and Petruccio and the nephew of Mario Auditore.
He was a witty, sharp and funny individual who liked to tease his little brother Ezio, but wouldn't tolerate it if someone else harmed him. He started his training as an Assassin with his father before Ezio, who was unaware of this.

Biography
"Assassin's Creed: Lineage"
Federico was eating dinner with the rest of the Auditore family as Giovanni left to intercept Rodrigo Borgia.

He later played a game of chess against Ezio. He beat him quite handily.

When Antonio Maffei showed up at the house of the Auditore and tried to capture Giovanni for the first time, Giovanni, having not yet recovered from his last fight, elected to escape. He told Federico to buy him time, telling him to "protect the family" at all costs. Federico succeeded in delaying the guards long enough for Giovanni to leave. Federico then kicked them all out of the mansion, reminding them "not to doubt the word of an Auditore again".

"Assassin's Creed II"
As his brother Ezio was fighting against a member of a rival noble family, Vieri de' Pazzi, Federico showed up to help his brother. He proved to be an excellent fighter and it can also be noted that he probably taught Ezio how to free run. After Ezio and he won the fight, Federico instructed Ezio to loot money from defeated enemies. After Ezio did so, he directed him to a doctor. It is said that Federico worked in one of the Medici banks, but was eventually removed from the payroll due to his slacker personality and also put money on the roof of the bank as a prank, but for being that of an Auditore, he saved himself from harsher consequences. Federico also enjoyed teasing his younger brother, Ezio, after the fight when they visit the Doctor (Ezio presenting the cuts on his face which were in need of healing). Afterwards, he and Ezio climbed to the top of the nearby church and took in the sights of Florence.

The next day he lounged about at home while Ezio ran around, doing errands for their father, whereby Ezio teased him for this with little insults. Federico was later beaten and captured by the city guards, along with his father Giovanni and little brother Petruccio. He was held prisoner overnight while Ezio frantically tried to secure the release of his family. The next morning, Federico was hanged with his father and brother, as the victims of a Templar conspiracy. Years later, Rodrigo Borgia would tell Ezio that there was no need to kill Federico and Petruccio; he just wanted to make a point.

It is not clear how much about his true heritage Federico knew, if any. But he seemed to take Giovanni's instruction: "Protect the family", to heart; as evidenced in his appearance at the beginning of Assassin's Creed II, no doubt making sure Ezio did not get himself seriously hurt while fighting the Pazzi. It is clear that Free Running was taught to him by Giovanni, and he in turn probably taught it to Ezio (as mentioned above).
