Vlad Tepes's Sword was a powerful, close-quarters sword, and was the personal weapon of Vlad Tepes.

Capable of dispatching any foe, the sword was found in the Impaler's hanging cell, which was within the infamous leader's prison. The Assassin Ezio Auditore was said to have obtained this sword sometime in 1511 while searching for the five Masyaf Keys.
Trivia
*Vlad Tepes's sword has unique killing animations, much like the Dagger of Brutus has in Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood. It also has some of the most brutal killing animations in Assassin's Creed.
*The Swords design and structure is that of a kilij with the front edge of the blade being weighted for optimal slicing and hacking power.
*The Multiplayer persona, the Count, does not use this weapon, despite being based off Vlad.
*When Ezio wields Vlad Tepes' Sword, enemy morale is reduced by 15 percent.

Description
Ezio collects the Masyaf Keys from the Assassin Hideout and sets off to the Galata Tower, where the exchange with Prince Ahmet is to take place.

Dialogue
Ezio joins Yusuf's lieutenants and the other Assassins at the graveyard, where Yusuf is buried.
*Assassin: Mentor.
*Ezio: Now should be a time for remembrance and mourning, I know... but our enemies do not permit us that luxury. Yusuf thought highly of you, Assassin. And I find no reason to second-guess this judgment. Do you have it in your heart to lead these men and women, and to maintain the dignity of our Order as Yusuf did with such passion?
*Dogan: It would be an honor.
*Ezio: Bene. (Good.) I am glad.<br />Our enemy is close. Take positions around the tower. Then wait for my command.
Ezio goes to the rendez-vous points and meets with Ahmet.
*Ezio: Where is she?
*Ahmet: I admire you, Ezio. But your bloodlust makes it hard to call you a friend.
*Ezio: Bloodlust? A strange insult from the man who ordered an attack on his own nephew.
*Ahmet: He was to be kidnapped, Ezio, not killed.
*Ezio: I see. Kidnapped by the Byzantines, so that his uncle could rescue him and be heralded a hero?
*Ahmet: More or less. Now... the keys.
*Ezio: First the girl.
*Ahmet: She's all yours.
Ezio spots a woman struggling with a guard on top of the Galata Tower.
*Ezio: Sofia!
*Ahmet: Tell your men to back off.
Ezio hands Ahmet the keys.
*Ahmet: She's all yours.
Ezio climbs Galata Tower and saves the woman, who turns out to be someone else than Sofia.
*Ezio: Dannazione! (Dammit!)
*Woman: Teshekkurler efendim, chock teshekkurier. (Thank you, sir, oh thank you.)
Ezio makes his way to the real Sofia and saves her.
*Sofia: Help!
*Ezio: Are you hurt?
*Sofia: No, not hurt. But very confused.
*Ezio: I did not mean to drag you into this. I am sorry.
*Sofia: You are not responsible for the actions of other men.
*Ezio: All this will be over soon. But I need to recover what they have taken.
*Sofia: I do not understand what is happening, Ezio. Who are these men?
*Ezio: Run!

Outcome
Dogan becomes the new leader of the Ottoman Assassins. Ahmet obtains the Keys and Ezio manages to save Sofia. Sofia and Ezio give chase with a carriage.

Trivia
*To achieve full Synchronization, Ezio must rescue Sofia before she loses half of her health.
*Oddly, when viewed in Eagle Sense, Ahmet will not glow red despite him being an enemy.

Bomb-crafting stations were a system used to craft bombs, both inside Constantinople and other locations. These stations were available to the Assassin Ezio Auditore during his travels, and were usually marked with the insignia of the Constantinople Assassins Guild.

Description
The crafting stations were small, boxlike, and somewhat inconspicuous, set up by the Assassins to enable the crafting and modifying of bombs. There were three inventory pouches inside a station, which were a lethal pouch, a tactical pouch, and a diversion pouch, in which up to five bombs could be manufactured with different types, amounts, and combinations of ingredients, for a maximum total of 15 bombs on hand at any given time.

Known ingredients
Shell
* Impact shell: The terracotta shell is a brittle casing that allows bombs to explode on impact.
* Fuse shell: This metal shell rebounds off surfaces and detonates after 3 seconds.
* Trip wire: The trip wire shell is laced with thin filaments around its perimeter. The slightest touch will trigger an explosion.
* Sticky pouch: Armed with a 5 second fuse, this leather pouch is coated with a resin that allows it to stick to almost any surface.
Gunpowder
* Indian gunpowder: This gunpowder creates a small explosion radius, minimizing the number of casualties around the target area.
* Arabic gunpowder: This gunpowder offers a medium-sized explosion, affecting multiple targets at once.

* British gunpowder: This gunpowder explodes in a wide radius, affecting a very large area.
Lethal
* Shrapnel: Shrapnel creates a lethal device designed to kill by dispersing metal shards upon exploding.
* Datura Powder: Datura Powder creates a lethal explosive designed to slowly poison anyone who breathes its fumes.
* Coal Dust: Coal Dust creates a lethal device designed to cripple targets with its explosive force alone.
Tactical
* Lamb's Blood: Lamb's Blood creates a tactical explosive used to scare, making anyone affected by it vulnerable.
* Caltrops: Caltrops create spikes incapacitating everyone in its vicinity for a few moments.
* Phosphorus: Phosphorus is used in tactical smoke bombs to create a dense, black smoke perfect for obscuring kills and hiding escapes.
* Skunk Oil: Skunk Oil creates a tactical explosive used to incapacitate and repulse.
Diversionary
* Sulfur: Sulfur creates an explosive used as a sound decoy.
* Salt of Petra: When ignited, Salt of Petra creates a light smoke that serves as an excellent decoy signal.
* Pyrite Coins: These fake gold coins create an explosive that attracts crowds.

Notes
*Players can also craft bombs in the weapons quick selection menu, essentially duplicating them, unless they have used them all up.
