The '''Teutonic Knights''' are German Roman Catholic crusaders that are positioned in the middle district of [[Acre]]. Being a part of the [[Crusaders]], the Knights Teutonic are trusted with the task of guarding the city of Acre. The Knights Teutonic, also known as ''Order of the German House of St. Mary in [[Jerusalem]]'', was formed at the end of the 12th century in Acre itself.

They were a feared and highly disciplined force, but were infiltrated by the [[Templars]]. They were perhaps better known for their Northern Crusade against Paganism in Lithuania, Russia and Eastern Europe rather than their expiditions to the Holy land. They were eventually destroyed by the Polish and Lithuanian nationalists.

In game their soldiers speak English, French and German like other crusaders, dispite historically the order being predominatley German
