[[File:AC4 La Dama Negra.jpeg|thumb|250px|''La Dama Negra'']]
'''La Dama Negra''' (English: ''The Black Lady'') was one of five [[Man O' War#Legendary ships|legendary ships]] encountered by the [[Piracy|pirate]] [[Edward Kenway]] in the [[Caribbean]], during the [[Golden Age of Piracy]]. It was located south of the fort of [[Serranilla]] in the [[Caribbean Sea]].

She relied heavily upon her double sets of mortars in battle, trying to remain out of range of enemy ships until they were almost sunk, when she would then deliver devastating broadside cannon volleys.

''La Dama Negra'' had heavily armored sides, which meant that she could not be harmed by broadside fire. However, the vessel was prone to damage from the front, the back and from above, leaving her vulnerable to being rammed or from mortar fire.

''La Dama Negra'' was eventually sunk by Kenway's ''[[Jackdaw]]''.
==Strategy==
This ship is the most interesting out of all four legendary ship fights. It's invulnerable on its left and right sides, and it has a double set of mortars. This means that you can't damage it with conventional means, and since using your mortars is your main form of damage, it can hit you harder than you can hit it. You need to get creative in this fight ("creative" being used loosely here).

Your own mortars and the battering ram will be your best friends in this fight. Use your mortar as often as possible, and try to stay behind the ship so that you can constantly ram it. The front and back of the ship are still open to damage, but the back is infinitely easier to hit. I wouldn't recommend using your broadsides an awful lot in this fight, as maneuvering after the ship can be difficult. Still, if you have an option between damage and no damage, it's not a contest.

The ship will constantly try to shell, and having double mortars, it can and will punish you if you don't try to avoid it. Don't forget that the ship has cannons. It doesn't use them a lot, but that doesn't mean it won't do a good chunk of your health in damage. Otherwise, this fight isn't nearly as unforgiving as [[El Impoluto]] or the [[HMS Fearless]] and [[Royal Sovereign]] .
[[File:AC4 El Impoluto.png|thumb|250px|El Impoluto]]
'''''El Impoluto''''' (English: ''The Pristine'') was one of five [[Man O' War#Legendary ships|legendary ships]] encountered by the [[Piracy|pirate]] [[Edward Kenway]] in the [[Caribbean]], during the [[Golden Age of Piracy]]. She could be found sailing in the Gulf of Mexico.

She was among the most maneuverable vessels in service to the [[Spain|Spanish]] [[Spanish Navy|Navy]], easily outpacing smaller vessels like the ''[[Jackdaw]]'' despite its size. The ship was also unique in its construction, possessing a significantly powerful naval ram, capable of inflicting massive damage on an enemy vessel in a single blow.

''El Impoluto'' was one of the most aggressive [[ships]] to sail the West Indies, often hunting down her enemies with powerful chaser cannons, before ramming into them from behind. After ramming, she would often turn and sail farther away before turning around and charging for another attack. Her broadside cannons were generally used only as a secondary weapon.

Despite her advantages, ''El Impoluto'' was eventually sunk by Edward Kenway's ''Jackdaw''.
==Strategy==
As you might have guessed, the main attack of this ship is the oversized battering ram. What you need to do may sound insane, but it is by far the best tactic - face the ship head on, and chain shot it when it's in range to slow it down. Right before you both impact, Brace. This will ensure you do the maximum amount of damage with your battering ram, while sustaining the least amount from El Impoluto's. Trust me on this. Trying to run or out-maneuver the ship is impossible - it has more movement speed and can often turn very quickly in order to ram you. The ship also has a large amount of broadside cannons, but won't use them nearly as much as the ramming tactic. I cannot stress enough that there is almost no chance of you avoiding the ram, so try to give as good as you get.

I should also stress that this fight is no pushover. Brace or no brace, the ram does an ungodly amount of damage. I recommend level 3 armor and battering ram or above for this fight.

==Trivia==
*''Impoluto'' is Spanish for "spotless, unblemished, unpolluted".
*After he successfully destroyed all legendary ships, Edward was rewarded with ''El Impoluto''<nowiki>'</nowiki>s charge attack for the ''Jackdaw''. When used, the ''Jackdaw''<nowiki>'</nowiki>s speed was temporarily increased in order to deliver devastating damage with the ram.
*The wheel and figurehead of ''El Impoluto'' can be gained in ''[[Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag]]'' by completing community challenges.
