Assassin's Creed: Project Legacy is a Facebook game, designed as a promotion for Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood.

Players are recruits for Abstergo Industries who relive the genetic memories of other individuals, who so far seem all to be Assassins. There are four chapters in the "Italian Wars" pack: Chapter 1 focuses on Bartolomeo d'Alviano during the Battle of Agnadello, Chapter 2 focuses on Francesco Vecellio on a mission to kill a target, Chapter 3 focuses on Mario Auditore and the protection of Monteriggioni, and Chapter 4 focuses on Perotto Calderon.

The "Rome" pack was released on November 15, 2010, and included another set of four chapters.
: Summary: Italian Wars Event Chart
:
: Main Article: Chapter 1 - Bartolomeo d'Alviano
Welcome to the DDS Program. Please remain still while we synchronize your first assignment. In 1509 CE, the Battle of Agnadello dealt a devastating blow to the Venetian army. You will relive this battle through the eyes and mind of one of its captains, Bartolomeo d'Alviano. Please report any anomalies you encounter.
: Main Article: Chapter 2 - Francesco Vecellio
You may feel mild discomfort during synchronization. This is normal. It is important to maintain your concentration. History places Niccolò di Pitigliano's death in Lonigo, Italy in the year 1510 CE. Our data supports this fact. But the circumstances of his death require further investigation. Please take notes and report your findings.
: Main Article: Chapter 3 - Mario Auditore
We are now synchronizing the DDS. For your safety, please report any nosebleeds, vertigo, nausea, or hallucinations. Land-hungry Florence sought possession of the walled city of Monteriggioni, but it held strong for years under the guidance of the Auditore family. You will dissect the memories of Mario Auditore who struggled to keep his city safe through the latter half of the 15th century.
: Main Article: Chapter 4 - Perotto Calderon
While we prepare to synchronize, please listen to the following questions. Be sure to report any difficulties you have answering. What is your name? Where do you live? What year is it? We have a unique window into the lives and secrets of the infamous Borgia family. The DDS has recovered the memories of one of their trusted couriers, Perotto Calderon. Your task is to find out exactly what he discovered.

Rome
:Main Article: Chapter 1 - Fiora Cavazza
Please wait a moment while we synchronize the DDS. You may find yourself daydreaming more often and sleeping less. This is a normal side effect of the program. Many of Rome's biggest names spent their leisure time indulging in its many brothels. They were ideal information hubs for those eager to scale the social ladder. Fiora Cavazza was one such courtesan. Investigate her contacts; find out who she knew, and what she did with that knowledge.
:Main Article: Chapter 2 - Giovanni Borgia
The DDS is going to try to synchronize you with the memories of a child. This may be confusing for you at first, as you will lose your ability to convey complex thought, but your mind should quickly adapt. The truth behind the real parents of Giovanni Borgia, the "Child of Rome," has long baffled historians. But even more perplexing is Giovanni's insignificant life that followed. How does one stand right in the center of the hurricane and remain untouched? Your task is to learn what history has hidden from us.
:Main Article: Chapter 3 - Francesco Vecellio
Now syncing the DDS system. We're going to take a moment to test your emotional range. Please focus on a fond memory. Good. Now focus on a painful memory. Perfect. Just prior to the death of Pope Alexander VI, Cesare Borgia began to lose his grip on Rome. Though you won't find any mention of it in the history books, we suspect a powerful underground movement worked to overthrow the corrupt dynasty. See what you can learn.
:Main Article: Chapter 4 - Giovanni Borgia
Preparing to synchronize. Note that we are experiencing a small system glitch that may cause a subtle ringing in your ears. It should pass as you enter the memory. The new world was plundered in the 15th Century. Explorers became conquerors. La Noche Triste or the Night of Sorrows was a bloody uprising between the Aztecs and the Spanish conquistadors. Hernan Cortes himself was driven from Tenochtitlan. Firsthand reports of the massacre present opposing perspectives. Find the truth.
Mnemonic Sets
:Main Article: Mnemonic Sets
What is Mnemonic?
Theoretically, it is a collection of four things which are rare and valuable. Practically, it provide you bonus in various aspects such as Florins farming, effective obtaining of AP and XP, increase Drop rate of item & Mnemonic, Crafting and PVP. You can combine the same Mnemonic once every 20 hours, and the effect lasts for 20 hours. Some effects of Mnemonic from different chapters are the same. The effect can be activated simultaneously during the 20 hours. The best way to obtain Mnemonics is to share the excess ones by gift and wish list. You probably cannot use all and do not need all the Mnemonic sets within 20 hou
Effective Use of Mnemonic for Intermediate Gain
When you complete all the missions in Italian Wars Once, you will enter Rome, have 300 APs at 40 levels and own all the property (if you purchase property, just because you complete Italian Wars doesn't mean you have purchased all the property) that help you generate 1 millions every 8 hours. However the experiece required also increases drastically. Even if you can obtain 3XP per AP, you need to wait for AP regeneration; you can rely on the full recovery of AP when Level UP that probabaly cause a waste of time and AP. Then you need to use Mnemonic that can help you increase the level up efficiency; but it would spoil the game.

Importance Notes when collecting Mnemonic
Knowing the objectives
*For Collection
You only need to combine certain Mnemonic once immediately and send the excess parts to your friends, so everyone get the achievement at an early time

*For XP Farming
You should save a lot of them and use all of them together when you are available at the coming 20 hours.

Which Mnemonic to Collect
*Collect the Mnemonic you really need in coming 20 hours
Say for example, if you have the Mnemonic parts quantity like (7,1,4,2); it is recommended to make the quantity to at least (7,3,4,3); Then you can save it for next 3 days's use.
The Chance of getting each part should be even, so share with buddies.

*Italian Wars Chapter 1 to Chapter 3
Already cover all aspects that are essential for level up. To be more specific,
You can obatin 2 important AP regenerates in Ch2:On the Hunt(Condottieri) and Ch3:Storm Warning(Visconti-Sforza Tarot). And it is probably easier to collect compared with the Rome's

*Consider the potential use of Chance item and By-product.
You may need some labour such as Solider,BlackSmith,Courtesan,Elite Assassin,Mercenary,Thug.
Some of them are recommeneded to collect before Rome, it is time consuming to go back and check
where to get certain labour. Some can be trained but waste time and money.
Resources like Gold, Precious stone,Hide and oak are important in the early to middle stage.
Keep these in stock during Ch3:Resourceful.Do the quest having greater chance to obtain multiple items(Max:6) with high per quantity(2~3). But remember maximum stock of each item in inventory is 255, try not to waste them by craft or sale.
*Cost of AP
If some chance items' value is low to you, you may aim at low AP but no chance item quest.
It may because you have compeleted relevant quests using particular labour, such as blacksmith and some mounted army. Some items for consumption can be purchased when you have money, such as arrows, bolt, armor, shield, fire pot.

*Reaching level up XP
1AP should give you 2XP on average. If you have a few thousand XP to go, nevermind.
But try make good use of each AP. You may try to do 1AP;1XP quest to make your XP as close to the denominator. And wait for a right time to have full AP recovery during level up

*Use Mnemonic to collect Mnemonic
Remember to use Medici Family Mnemonic( + Mnemonic chance by 3% for 20h.). And other Mnemonic help you save AP

*Money Cost and Item preparation
Actually, this is the least important.Money is not really a matter.Do remember some resources and items have alterative use, may need AP or time to prepare them
Project Legacy Florins and XP Farming Guide
This guide breaks down the most efficient/profitable quests if you are ever in need of florins or xp. To be considered, the quests cannot require consumables unless these can be bought at a cheap cost with a decent net gain. These calculations are based on an Intrigue skill of 62 so especially for a lot of the money losing or unprofitable quests i.e. the crafting based ones, These figures are only to be used as a rough guide unless you are around the same level or higher since those quests only become profitable once the applicable skill(s) are raised adequately. The best missions to farm are bolded below, and the rest are listed alternatives that are also decent depending on what's available to you and how many AP's you have at the time. Guide complete up to Chapter 3.

Making and Saving Money from Crafting
Missions Made Easier/More Profitable by Crafting
If you have excess materials and can craft the expensive requirements for these missions, then you can make a LOT more bang for your AP buck than the other recommended farming missions, assuming you already have materials. These can save you a lot of AP to get ahead in missions once you have the money you need, but otherwise if you are buying the requirements each time, the net xp and florin gain rates are not impressive. Take advantage of these missions if you can.
*Chapter 2 Bait and Trap, Character Assassination: 4 AP 6xp 712 florins (req expensive gift 212 florins net if not) 1.5 apr 178 fpr
*Chapter 2, Bloodwork, Boxing In: 5Ap 7xp ( -22 florins net) 768 florins otherwise, 153.6 fpr

An Overview of Crafting Chains
A player can make or save money through the use of crafting chains. A <u>crafting chain</u> is a group of craftings, in which the product of one crafting is either the final product or an ingredient in another, the product of which is, in turn, either the final product or an ingredient in another crafting, etc. Crafting chains are often done for the purpose of making money by selling the final product. In an ideal crafting chain, all of the ingredients can be purchased for a far lower price than the final product can be sold for, leading to large profit margins. Crafting chains can also be used to obtain otherwise expensive or difficult-to-acquire mission requirement items from far cheaper or more easily obtained ingredients. The profit/savings margin of a crafting chain is obviously important, but there are other considerations as well. For example, whether a crafting chain whose ingredients, some or all of which, can only be obtained as chance items from missions or a crafting chain whose ingredients, some or all of which, can be obtained through purchase, is easier to complete, depending upon the player's AP's and whether or not they have sufficient florins or mission requirements, and whether or not to purchase the ingredients for a crafting chain or try to obtain them as chance items from the appropriate mission, if they can be acquired either way. The number of craftings a crafting chain entails and how they ar sequenced is another important consideration; a crafting chain that is more lucrative but requires more craftings or whose craftings are sequenced unfavorably (i.e., several craftings in the crafting chain cannot be performed at the same time, but rather must follow one another chronologically because the products of some are the ingredients of other) may not be worth the extra time and effort as compared to a crafting chain requiring less or more suitably sequenced (many craftings can be performed at one time) craftings.

Determining a Crafting Chain's Profit or Savings Margin Algebraically
You can determine a crafting chain's profit margin by modeling it algebraically, substituting values in for the variables, and solving. The basic algebraic model of the profit of a crafting chain is the following:

<math>T=SF(1+I/100)-(C1M1+C2M2+C3M3)</math> where <math>T</math> represents the profit, <math>S</math> represents the base selling price of the final product, <math>F</math> represents the number of the final product obtained, and <math>I</math> represents the average Intrigue stat of the player over the time it takes to produce, and sell, the final product of the crafting chain. Each <math>C</math> and <math>M</math> represent the purchasing price of and number of, respectively, each ingredient required in the crafting chain. A player will need to use more or less of these variables (with the appropriate subscripts) for crafting chains with more or fewer purchased ingredients than 3, although few require more than 3 purchased ingredients. Here is an explanation of each part of the right side of the equation:
*<math>SF(1+I/100)</math>: the income of the crafting chain. <math>SF</math> determines the base selling price of the entire stock of the final product produced, which, multiplied by <math>(1+I/100)</math>, (the modifier placed on the base selling price of any sold item by the player's average Intrigue stat over the time of the sale of all of the item), determines the final selling price of the entire stock of the final product, aka, the income of the crafting chain.
*<math>(C1M1+C2M2+C3M3)</math>: the cost of the crafting chain. The cost of each ingredient, multiplied by the number of it used, gives the cost of the stock of each ingredient purchased. Added together, they equal the entire cost of the crafting chain.
One crafting chain with a large profit margin, particularly useful in the 3rd memory sequence, starts with coal and ends with poisoned daggers. The cheapest/most lucrative way to complete this crafting chain is to extract pyrite from coal, combine the pyrite with saltpeter to get vitriol, and then combine the vitriol with unpoisoned daggers to get poisoned daggers. It will be used here as an example of how to algebraically model, and subsequently determine, the profit of a crafting chain.

Here is the algebraic model of the profit of the crafting chain:
<math>T=750C1PVP2(1+I/100)-(150C+100CP+200CP1V)</math>, where <math>C</math> represents the number of coals used, <math>P1</math> represents the average number of doses of pyrite obtained per extraction from coal (can be 1 to 2), <math>V</math> represents the average number of doses of vitriol produced per combination of pyrite and saltpeter (can be 1 to 2), and <math>P2</math> represents the average number of poisoned daggers produced per combination of vitriol and a dagger (can be 1 to 2). Here is an explanation of each part of the right side of the equation:

The first part: <math>750CP1VP2(1+I/100)</math>. The income of the crafting chain. Explained further:

*750: the base selling price, of a poisoned dagger.
*<math>CP1VP2</math>: the number of poisoned daggers produced.
The second part: <math>-(150C+100CP1+200CP1V)</math>. The cost of the crafting chain with no ingredients left over. Explained further:

*<math>150C</math>: 150 is the purchasing price of a coal, which, multiplied by <math>C</math> (the number of coals used), gives the cost of the stock of coal used.
*<math>100CP1</math>: 100 is the purchasing price of a dose of saltpeter, which, multiplied by CP1 (the number of doses of pyrite obtained, giving the number of doses of saltpeter needed to use up all the pyrite obtained), gives the cost of the stock of saltpeter used.
*<math>200CP1V</math>: 200 is the cost of an unpoisoned dagger, which, multiplied by <math>CP1V</math> (the number of doses of vitriol produced, giving the number of unpoisoned daggers needed to use up all the vitriol produced), gives the cost of the stock of unpoisoned daggers used.
Here is a demonstration of how to solve the equation, assuming the hypothetical player started with 1 coal, obtained an average of 2 products at each step of the crafting chain, and had an average Intrigue stat of 30 over the time of the sale of all of the poisoned daggers produced.

*The original equation: <math>T=750CP1VP2(1+I/100)-(150C+100CP1+200CP2V)</math>
*Substituting for the variables: <math>T=750(1)(2)(2)(2)(1+30/100)-(150(1)+100(1)(2)+200(1)(2)(2))</math>
*Performing multiplication and division inside the parentheses: <math>T=750(1)(2)(2)(2)(1+0.3)-(150+200+800)</math>
*Performing addition and subtraction inside the parentheses (note that 1,150 is the cost of the crafting chain): <math>T=750(1)(2)(2)(2)(1.3)-1,150</math>
*Performing multiplication and division (note that 7,800 is the income of the crafting chain): <math>T=7,800-1,150</math>
*Performing addition and subtraction: <math>T=6,650</math>
So the player's profit from the crafting chain is 6,650.

Profitable Crafting Chains and their Algebraic Models
Memorize the expression (1+I/100). You will see it in the algebraic model of every selling crafting chain, because it represents the modifier placed on the price of any sold item by a player's Intrigue stat.

*Coal to Matchlock Rifle:
**Flowchart: Coal->Pyrite, Pyrite+Olive (wood)+Tin+Copper->Matchlock Rifle.

The Coal to Matchlock Rifle chain is extremely profitable, with a base price of 7500, but requires olives, tin and copper, which cannot be purchased. These are fairly easy to get from the Digging In and Lumbering missions.
You responded: "History has proven that statement time and again."

Correct. As you explore the DDS, you will confirm it to be a constant historical truth. Understanding this offers a more realistic view of the world today. Why does "manipulate" need to have such a negative connotation? Why can't the followers follow the great into greatness?
You responded: "It depends on the subject."

It's only natural you'd empathize with the subjects behind the memories and those with a stronger synch will be harder to resist. You're viewing the events through one perspective, one that is often convinced it is doing the right thing. Some users have experienced an issue with the Erudito assisted florin gain, wherein they receive a slight or a fairly big florin loss instead. For example one user lost 17 000 florins out of 60 000 at one time. It has not been confirmed if all users who have accessed this code lose florins, however this feature is not to be recommended.
Linking
After linking Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood with a Uplay account, you will be able control your brotherhood from within Project Legacy (such as sending Assassins on missions). Doing so will also unlock certain events within Project Legacy itself.

Finding and combining the Auditore Trail Mnemonic Set can be used to unlock Brotherhood content, and buying certain landmarks within both Project Legacy and Brotherhood (such as the Colosseo) will net you florins in both games.

A developer's post on the Ubisoft UK Assassin's Creed board also implies that Uplay points can be unlocked through Project Legacy. This would presumably allow players to complete all the Uplay rewards in Brotherhood, as Brotherhood has a greater number of unlocks than it has in-game point rewards. However, when the functionality went live there were an equal amount of points for rewards and actions for Project Legacy. The points can be spent on unlockables in Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood if one so chooses.
Cheating
Assassin's Creed: Project Legacy has alot of cheaters. These use programs to cheat themselves AP, Florins or XP, having an unfair advantage over other players. A type of protection against cheating doesn't exist - as far as I am concerned.
