I was actually hoping you would have to choose between carrying a musket or a bow. I really like the idea of being able to go native or colonial, and having to choose between musket or bow would be perfect for that. Also, he looks very "over-armed" with both a musket and a bow on his back. I mean like, come on, do they expect us to believe that he will not draw attention to himself with his incredibly big and visible arsenal of weapons, his white hood (no one whore hoods in the 1700's) and his weird mix between native and european clothing? Gimme a break.

Not to mention most of the combat animations are recycled from Brotherhood and Revelations (they are Ezio's old dagger kill animations). And don't try to tell me that "chop three times in the chest" or "stab the neck from below" can be considered iconic moves. They say Connor's a dual wielder, but he never seems to use the knife in his other hand.

I'm pretty sure that by "outsiders" he means all people that are not native americans (all colonists basically). I think the reason is that he kills british soldiers is that most of the game takes place at a time when the british are still ruling america and thus being the predominant guard type.

I also think that as an assassin, Connor should be able to look beyond ethnicity and do what's best for all humans. It is possible, though, that a major part of the story will be seeing Connor go from an angry vengeful boy to a mature assassin who lets go of his hate and does the greater good (for europeans and natives alike).

You've pretty much only seen her picture, so I'm not sure how she can already be your favourite assassin in the series.

I think Connor has the best potential to be an interesting character. His mixed heritage seems to create some very interesting emotinal and ideological conflicts within him. I think Altair and Ezio where pretty shallow characters.
