Revamp

Micheletto Corella was one of Cesare Borgia's three generals and his personal assassin. Along with the other generals, he accompanied Cesare during the Siege of Monteriggioni. After the battle was won, Micheletto returned to Rome with Cesare and the other generals.

He would later be seen garroting Francesco Troche, and conspiring to assassinate Lucrezia Borgia's lover Pietro Rossi, both at Cesare's command. In order to kill Pietro, the actor for Jesus in the Passion play, he posed as another actor playing the part of the Centurion who speared Jesus, accompanied by several Borgia men posing as his troops. The feigned "accident" was set to take place at the play in the Colosseo.

However, Ezio Auditore da Firenze overheard the conspiracy and therefore tailed Micheletto to the play. Along the way, as Micheletto delivered the costumes for his men who would dress as ancient Roman soldiers, Ezio instructed his Assassin apprentices to slay the would-be accomplices, and take their disguises. After Ezio and his recruits neutralized several gunmen stationed atop the Colosseo's upper levels, they donned the stolen costumes and proceeded into the play. Shortly after they entered, Ezio broke away from his allies and took down Micheletto. Though prevented from stabbing Pietro to death, Micheletto revealed that he had made "doubly sure" to kill Pietro, having also poisoned him with cantarella. Due to Ezio's haste to save Pietro from the poison, he chose to spare Micheletto's life. Micheletto expressed surprise at Ezio's mercy, but Ezio replied he had not come with the intention of killing him, and, given Micheletto's part in Cesare's rise, told Micheletto that when his master fell from glory, so would he.

Micheletto is not seen again after this; however, shortly after the death of the Pope, Cesare mentioned that Micheletto was leading Cesare's remaining army into Rome to back his attempts to return to power. However, this proved false after Fabio Orsini arrived instead, with an army that was there to arrest Cesare.

According to the description in Micheletto's Portrait in the Tiber Island Hideout, he fled Rome after Cesare's downfall, but was arrested at Pope Julius II's order. His fate thereafter is unknown.

Micheletto also made several appearances in the game Assassin's Creed: Project Legacy, where he interacted with a young Giovanni Borgia. At Cesare's request, Micheletto rather harshly "instructs" Giovanni on how to defend himself, then later brings him out into the streets, where he has Giovanni assist him in assassinating an innocent old man.

Final Words
(As Ezio makes to stab Micheletto, he laughs.)

Micheletto: You cannot save Pietro. The wine he drank was poisoned. As I promised Cesare, I made doubly sure. (Ezio gets up and leaves him.) I am not yet dead.

Ezio: I did not come here to kill you. He who is the cause of someone else becoming powerful is the agent of his own destruction.

Trivia
*During a mission, where you have to rescue Volpe's theives, who were spying on Cesare, after their cover was blown, one of the thieves refered to Micheletto as Cesare's "butcher".
*In the Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood Mobile game, Micheletto is called Michelotto.
