Three keys were needed to access the Temple of the Sand, one was received from [[Fajera]], the gypsy woman. The Temple of Sand is the location of the Chalice (a similar object to a Piece of Eden). Altaïr travels to the Temple of the Sand where he encounters Templar forces and fights his way to the antechamber, defeating the [[Axe Warrior]]. There, he finds an empty chest and Lord [[Basilisk]], who hints that the [[Chalice]] is in fact a woman.
