The Memory Corridor, also known as "White Room" in Animus 2.0, appears to be an empty virtual space, which the Animus displays whenever no scene from a memory is displayed. It is displayed whenever Altaïr or Ezio kills a main story assassination target, likely to place a focus on the final moments of the target. The corridor has different backgrounds according to the version of Animus being used. The Abstergo Animus 1.28 has an icy-blue background with fog and various computer code, while the Assassins' Animus 2.0's background is light gray with white lines.

The corridor is used as a loading screen between memories, where the user may run around, as well as a location where the dying target shares his last words with the Assassin. In Assassin's Creed and Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood, it is also used as a tutorial location for the Animus Virtual Training Program.

In Assassin's Creed, the memory corridor is displayed during one particular confrontation even though Altaïr does not kill his intended target. This occurs when Altaïr attempts to strike down Robert de Sable, only to discover that he is a decoy, Maria Thorpe. After the conversation, Altaïr lets her go. The game resumes and Maria is still alive despite the fatal strike.

Trivia
*No matter what position or method the assassination target is killed in, or how far away the Assassin is from the target, upon entering the corridor, the Assassin will always be right next to the target, who is always lying down on their back.
*In Assassin's Creed, on a sufficiently long 'loading' corridor, it is possible for the player to run far enough that glitches and other symbols surrounding the player are left behind. In both Assassin's Creed II and Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood, this no longer happens.
*In Assassin's Creed, glitches appear frequently in the corridor, prompting the player to change the angle of the scene, and allow the target to walk around as they speak, appearing uninjured.
*In Assassin's Creed II, Dante Moro and Silvio Barbarigo appear in the memory corridor together, even if they are killed separately.
*In Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood, when the Templar Agents (the Templars that are used in Multiplayer) are killed and enter the Memory Corridor they do not speak. Ezio simply says 'Requiescat in pace,' closes their eyes, and walks away.
*Another variation of the corridor is present in the Cristina Memories in Assassins Creed: Brotherhood, where a ghost-like Ezio chases another ghost-like figure--Cristina--taking many sudden turns in a dark, red-hued corridor. The Cristina memories are labeled as repressed memories, which may be why the corridor takes on a different appearance.
*In Assassin's Creed: Revelations there is a room called "The Black Room" this room in the Animus 2.0 is very similar to the white memory corridor, but it is black. This is where Desmond is placed while he is in a coma to keep him stable and alive.
*The third variation of memory corridor in Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood is orange - the one after the death of Cesare (after Ezio throws him off the castle wall).
The Villa Auditore was a familial home and stronghold of the Auditore family, located within the city of Monteriggioni, in Tuscany. Constructed in 1290, the Villa was purchased and renovated by Domenico Auditore some time after a Florentine attack in 1320. It remained the home to the Auditore family up until the turn of the 16th century, when it was heavily damaged during the Siege of Monteriggioni.

During the ownership of Mario Auditore, the Villa became rundown and in desperate need of repair; but the arrival of his nephew – Ezio Auditore da Firenze – in 1476, heralded a rebirth for not only the Villa, but the city of Monteriggioni as well.

History
Constructed in 1290, in 1320 a Florentine attack left the facade damaged. Some time after the death of Dante Alighieri in 1321, Domenico Auditore purchased the Villa and subsequently erected a new facade and added a painting gallery to the interior. Domenico redesigned the Villa not only as a home, but as a fortress and training ground for the town. The building itself was filled with hidden compartments and rooms, whilst the grounds catered to a number of different uses. Later, Domenico constructed the Auditore Family Crypt; although initially unconnected, the construction of an escape route from within the Villa brought the two constructions together.

By 1436, the Villa hosted the newest generation of Auditore assassins; the brothers Mario and Giovanni. Following the death of their father and Giovanni's departure for Florence, Mario became the sole ruler of Monteriggioni and resident of the Villa in 1454. Despite his love for the Villa, it fell into disrepair along with the city it protected, due to him spending his money on war and mercenaries.

In 1476, Mario's nephew, Ezio Auditore da Firenze, as well as his mother and sister, came seeking refuge in Monteriggioni. Following the execution of his father and brothers, Ezio had become notorious in Florence. Ezio intended to take his mother and sister to Spain, to Mario's protest.

Ezio decided to stay instead in Monteriggioni and seek revenge on those responsible for the execution. Ezio became, in effect, co-ruler of Monteriggioni, and was the one responsible for the renovation of the town.

Although the exact length of time it took for the Villa to be rebuilt is unknown, by late December 1499 it was once again an opulent structure, as well as the headquarters of the Assassin Order in Italy.

However, on January 2, 1500, the Papal forces led by Cesare Borgia besieged Monteriggioni, thus devastating the town and Villa and killing Mario. The Villa was abandoned for at least seven years, as Ezio, his now elderly mother and sister left the ruins of Monteriggioni to wage war against the House of Borgia in Rome.

Sometime before 1554, possibly in Ezio's lifetime, the Auditore seized their control back over Monteriggioni, presumably repairing the Villa, too. In 1554, however, the Auditore were betrayed by Giovannino Zeti, keeper of the garrison and a Florentine exile, who gave the keys of the city to the Medici. The Medici conquered Monteriggioni, though they allowed the Auditore to continue ruling the city due to the families' good relationship.

On September 9, 2012, Desmond Miles, Lucy Stillman, Rebecca Crane and Shaun Hastings set up a temporary base of operations within the Sanctuary beneath the Villa Auditore. By this stage, the Villa had fallen to disrepair once again. During their stay, the Assassins lived within the Villa, coming out only to collect provisions and before leaving for Rome on October 10.

Rooms
The Villa Auditore had a multitude of rooms, some hidden. Below is a list of known rooms;
*Ezio's room and study
*The Assassin's Sanctuary

Trivia
*In 2012, a red trail is shown in Eagle Vision, leading from the courtyard behind the villa down to the fountain at the base of the stairs.
*It is not known where Claudia's room is, but it is possible it is located behind a closed door in the villa, which can not be opened by Ezio.
