Now thanks for the explanation, Sima and Molotov... if that's how the story goes, oh well.. but that's just one big far-fetched coincidence that makes me doubt that this was the writers... to me this just proves that they are loosing control of the narrative because it's just getting too big and then they have to come up with all these malabaristic plotlines and amazing coincidences to justify their screw ups...

The answer to this whole question becomes a retconning mess once we remember that AC2 and Altaïr's Codex clearly show that Ezio's Apple was the one those Templars got from Cyprus, which was the place Altaïr hid his Apple after the events of AC Bloodlines as stated in the page 26 of his codex, where he also mentions the appearing of the prophet (the Templars held that page of the Codex, went to Cyprus to get the Apple, Ezio double assassinates Dante Moro and Silvio Barbarigo but the Templars still manage to sail away, they come back with that apple, Ezio tails them, the prophet apears, you know the rest...)

Oh it just crossed my mind now... will this game have any sort of connection with AC Brotherhood? Remember in the end when they enter the Coliseum Vault and activate the pedestal and all those holograms come out and then there's the Phrygian Cap and the Masonic Eye (the two symbols that Shaun says that only come together in one place, which we knew that was the French Revolution).

Maybe this game will have some answers about who is that 'Eve' that Subject 16 talked about to Desmond when you did all those puzzles... (yeah, Desmond had all the chances to ask 16 about that in AC Revelations, but he conveniently forgot all that....)

Or maybe not, again.

I don't know, Outsider... but I guess The Crimson Eagle is right, that was the first thing that crossed my mind... if they called it AC5 just one year after AC4 (which also came one year after AC3) was released, it would sound like they are milking the franchise too much (WHICH IS TOTALLY NOT THE CASE, RIGHT GUYS?? Seriously, I just wished they explained how Juno stopped the solar thing... I would allow myself to hope for more answers, like where are the assassins now, what they are up to and how they intend to stop Juno, but since they released one full game (ACIVBF) that had absolutely ZERO progression on the modern-day story I'm now sure they will just keep postponing explanations until God knows when....
