World Round
Should it be mentioned anywhere that he believes the world is round, long before it was commonly accepted? Also, concerning the Priory of Scion, I thought that it had Hospitaller connections, a rival sect to the Knights Templar. I could be completely wrong. :No. Please remember that this is Assassin's Creed Wiki and not Wikipedia. :: I was referring to information that was mentioned in the DLC. I actually screwed up what I meant--not that the world is round, but that it circles the sun, lol. As for the Priory of Scion comment, that was already mentioned on this article. I wouldn't have added it in. Thanks. == Biography ==
"In his biography, it is speculated that Leonardo is homosexual. However, at a certain points in the game he himself implies that he regularly visits the girls at La Rosa Della Virtù, the ambiguity lives on." It's mentioned, once, that he knows Teodora and thinks she's interesting. They go so far as to mention Leonardo's likely lover, Salai, who he painted countless times and often gave free reign of his money to. I don't want to step on any toes, but it seems like whoever wrote that is trying to cast Leonardo as another straight-yet-misunderstood hero. AgentValentine 21:21, February 7, 2010 (UTC)

Maybe he could be a bisexual. Honestly, the guy is a genius, I didn't care what his orientation is. And nor did Ezio. That kind of info can be removed from the article. If there's no hint of a homo from his part in the game, then he's straight. My oppinion. -- D. Cello 03:11, February 8, 2010 (UTC)

: There is hints of homo. In fact, the game states that he "was most likely homosexual and the database entry talks about his lover, Salai, who he painted over and over, left lots of money to, left his most famous paintings to, and in his life gave free reign of his bank account to. Leo was this kids sugar-daddy. AgentValentine 06:46, February 8, 2010 (UTC)
If David Wallace says, David Wallace is right... the database's never wrong XD<br />If his hinted as a homo, and also takes interest in girls, then he's a bi. Whatever he is, be gay or bi, can be added as a small note in the trivia section, nothing more, since it's such a minor trivia who doesn't affect the game. -- D. Cello 01:56, February 9, 2010 (UTC)

: It's Danny Wallace. And I wasn't just referring to the Database. -_- But he doesn't take interest in women at all. He knows Teodora. So what? I know girls, it doesn't make me bi. I think the trivia fact about his sexuality should be taken out all together, or the part about him taking interest in women should be removed. He never--NEVER--takes interest in women during the game. AgentValentine 02:40, February 9, 2010 (UTC)
Ah, he doesn't take interest... And outside of the game, we hae records of him being bi or gay? -- D. Cello 02:47, February 9, 2010 (UTC)

: It is widely accepted by scholars that he was homosexual, and made very few efforts to hide it. AgentValentine 04:02, February 9, 2010 (UTC)
: Okay, throw it in the trivia then. -- D. Cello 05:38, February 9, 2010 (UTC)
:: I would be careful what you say. There is no proof either way. While it is true that charges were brought on Sodomy twice, they were dropped both times for failure of a witness and they accusations were made anonymously. It is widely accepted falsely. There are no conclusive records of him being either bisexual or homosexual. All there is are speculations and rumors, and moreover, does it even matter? I would put more interesting trivia in, like Da Vinci never drew all the components of a machined part for security. A way to ensure his war machines schematics were not duplicated without his approval and input. Or that he could percieve and draw a bird in flight in any angle by looking from any other angle. :
:
:
: Actually in AC:BH, it is hinted that he is a homosexual, as sometime after his war machines are destroyed, he will say he is painting a "lovely girl" or something and Ezio reminds him not to be distracted by beautiful girls and he says he rarely is. Although it doesn't sound very homo, if you watch the cutscene, his actions and the awkward silence hint at it.Adam Sizzler 12:13, December 29, 2010 (UTC)
Game Implications
In one clip from Brotherhood, where Ezio and Leonardo are sitting on the bench where their liasions take place, Leonardo said he'd been working on a painting of a beautiful young women. Ezio responds about not letting the girl take priority over the inventions, to which Leonardo said that "women won't distract (him) much" and placed his hand on Ezio's back. Ezio was confused, saying "wait...what?" "Nothing..." and Leonardo sat back and there was an awkward pause. This gives a clear implication that Leonardo is not even bi, just homosexual(for Ezio even).
I had a question on Leonardo da Vinci. A couple days ago I read the page on Leo an was a bit confused on the The Pythagorean Temple ans Apple from Cyprus section. I dont remember in the game when Leonardo saw symboles from the Apple of Eden and when he and Ezio where in one of the vaults. Was this part in AC2 Brotherhood? I have a question on what DLC did Ezio and Machiavelli vist Leonardo at his house in Amboise, when Leo was getting close to his death? And, what DLC do we find out that Caterina Sofrza died form pneumonia when she returned to Florence after she made a petition do regain control of Forlì? There says that Leonardo was historically left-handed. But historically, he was ambidextrous (he could write and draw with both hands). He could even draw and write at the same time.
