As &#039;&#039;[[Assassin&#039;s Creed: Brotherhood]]&#039;&#039; is the first major installment in the [[Assassin&#039;s Creed Series|series]] to feature a multiplayer, there are many &#039;&#039;&#039;multiplayer personas&#039;&#039;&#039; that are playable.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
There are a total of 17 multiplayer characters in the Codex Version of the game, including the Harlequin, Officer, and Hellequin. A few of the characters will also be present as targets for [[Ezio Auditore da Firenze|Ezio]] to kill in the singleplayer, in Templar Agent side missions. At the moment, all 17 multiplayer character have 4 different variations to their costumes (referred to as gear) as well as the option to change the color of them.&lt;br /&gt;

*&#039;&#039;&#039;[[Captain]]&#039;&#039;&#039; - Wearing decorative armor and possessing refined sword skills, the Captain wields a thin [[Multiplayer Weapons#Rapier|rapier]] and kills his targets with stylish flair.&lt;br /&gt;
*&#039;&#039;&#039;[[Courtesan (Animi Avatar)|Courtesan]]&#039;&#039;&#039; - A sensual woman in liberal clothing, the Courtesan charms her targets before assassinating them in fluid, but lethal movements, with her special bladed [[Multiplayer Weapons#Fan|fan]].&lt;br /&gt;
*&#039;&#039;&#039;[[Dama Rossa]]&#039;&#039;&#039; (DLC exclusive - Da Vinci Disappearance) - A young, but serious looking leather clad woman, the Dama Rossa kills her targets similarly to a black widow spider, by using her double pronged [[Multiplayer Weapons#Hairpin|hair pin]].&lt;br /&gt;
*&#039;&#039;&#039;[[Doctor (Animi Avatar)|Doctor]]&#039;&#039;&#039; - Bearing dark robes and a beak-shaped mask to hide his face, the Doctor uses a [[Multiplayer Weapons#Syringe|syringe]] to assassinate his targets and patients, killing many more than what he saves.&lt;br /&gt;
*&#039;&#039;&#039;[[Engineer]]&#039;&#039;&#039; - An expert marksman, wearing mostly red and white clothes with puffy sleeves, the Engineer wields a [[Multiplayer Weapons#Compass|compass]] as his weapon, and kills his targets with careful preparation.&lt;br /&gt;
