It was totally retconned in the last minute, man! Lost Archives show us that she was about to leave the Assassins when 16 was still alive! IMPOSSIBLE! In AC1 she is so sad and all about how 16 ended up dying, it's DAMN IMPOSSIBLE for her to be that cold towards 16 when he was still alive...

What bugs me is that Ubisoft keeps saying that "No, guys, this is not a America vs England game, there are good guys and bad guys on both sides, blah blah blah" and yet in every artwork/screenshot they are always showing Connor killing brits, and always the American flag waving and the amercan flag colors in the logos all that stuff... NONE of previous AC games was so filled with this damned patriotism (something that shouldn't be present in an AC game AT ALL).

I also think that this stupid twist was made up in the last minute.. as you said, there were better reasons for Juno to kill Lucy, people came up with very interesting theories about it, the more interesting for me was one that told that since Desmond was in love with Lucy, she would be a distraction keeping him from finding that "Eve" girl that Juno talked about and eventually having a child with her....

Buutt noooo let's just go the easy and cheap way and make her a traitor and completely forget about her after having her as one of the protagonist for the last three fucking games....

What I have learned is that what Gameinformer or other magazines say isn't, by any means the final result we will have. Last year, Gameinformer hyped us so much about ACR talking about questions being answered and new Altair memories, and "the biggest team for an Assassin's Creed game up to date" and it was dissapointing (for me). The same goes with AC3 now, unfortunately. Not believing anything until seeing it.

And another thing I've learned is that Multiplayer always get to damage the single-player experience...

And for the record, I still love Altair and Ezio, and everything that made AC so great back then... I'm just not excited as I was, since we are never going to really see them again.

Thanks Cello, for all your incredible work here! I will miss your comments, since they perfectly described my opinion on Ubisoft and the games.

But I perfectly agree with you. BEFORE Revelations, everytime I heard about a new AC game coming out I couldn't hold myself.. the excitement was too great, I counted every second left for the game to be released. Now after Revelations, all the magic, all that feeling is gone. They just destroyed that awesome atmosphere that was so present in AC1 and AC2 (even ACBH) and it seems that it's only for the money now, they are more worried about what their special editions have than what the game itself has. I don't notice today's developers having that passion that Jade Raymond and Patrice Desiléts had for the game's characters and story.

Unfortunately, I can say that I'm not really excited about AC3. Honestly, I think this whole American Revolution-George Washington thing that they are doing doesn't fit the AC philosophy. And worst of all, they are keeping Multiplayer. Because of this, I bet that we will again have a short campaign AND an unconclusive end to Desmond's story, just wait and see...
