The '''Harlequin''' (real name: '''Cahin '''<ref> [[Assassin's Creed: Project Legacy]] </ref> ) is an exclusive multiplayer character featured in ''[[Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood]]'', available via pre-order on Gamestop.com, Play.com and Ubisoft.com. He is also available in the HMV Exclusive Edition and the Limited Codex Edition of ''Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood''. A jack-in-the box of the Harlequin is also available to those who pre-order the Collector's edition of ''[[Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood]]'' from GameStop.

On November 16th 2010, gaming website Kongregate held a contest for a copy of ''Brotherhood'', which, to enter, you simply had to complete level 3 of Ultimate Assassin 2. One lucky winner would win the game with the exclusive Harlequin character and an Xbox 360 to play it on, and several other contestants would recieve a copy of the game with the exclusive character.

He uses two [[Multiplayer Weapons#Dagger|stiletto daggers]] as his primary weapons. Another playable multiplayer character, known as the [[Hellequin]], is confirmed to be his sister, as stated by their multiplayer character descriptions.

In ''[[Assassin's Creed: Project Legacy]]'', Cahin and his sister Caha are first encountered by [[Fiora Cavazza]] as they perform together. The performance turns out to be a trap, however, with Cahin, Caha, and Fiora killing all the guests present. Fiora notes to herself that the siblings seem to be mad, yet fun. Later on, when Fiora changes sides and joins the [[Assassins]] in weakening [[Cesare Borgia]]'s defenses, she aids in assassinating Cahin and Caha. The attack was successful, with the siblings dying together during the assault.

===The Killing Joke===
The Harlequin nearly stabs the target under the chest, flips over their back, then stabs the victim in the neck and to the right of the chest cavity, leaving them incapacitated and internally bleeding to death.

==Sacrifical Strike==
From behind, the Harlequin stabs the target's waist, making them fall. Right when they fall, he stabs their neck with the other dagger, then again with the other dagger, causing them to go limp. The body then falls to the ground as he withdraws the daggers.

===Killing Wheel===
The Harlequin does a cartwheel, kicking his victim in the head and knocking them to the floor. He then quickly stabs his victim in the chest, and allows them to fall to the floor as he withdraws his weapons (as seen at 0:19 in the video below).

===More is Merrier===
The Harlequin pushes his target down and stabs their chest/neck maniacally several times. This can be performed running at or jumping on a target (as shown in the video below at 0:55).

The '''Arsuf Plains''' (Hebrew: ארשוף, Arabic: أرصف‎ (Arsaaf)) are the outskirts of an ancient city and fortress located in Israel, near the modern day city of Herzliyya. Also know as Arsur or Apollonia, it's located on a cliff above the Mediterranean Sea.

==History==
===Early history and development===
Founded by Phoenicians in the 6th or 5th century BC, Arsuf was initially a part of the Persian Empire. During the Hellenistic period it became an anchorage town, ruled by Seleucids and re-named Apollonia. Later, under Roman rule, the size of the town increased, where it was an important settlement along Via Maris, the coastal road.

In 113 AD the city was partially destroyed by an earthquake, but recovered quickly and developed trade with Italy and North Africa. Captured by Muslims in 640 AD, the Semitic name Arsuf restored and the town was surrounded by a fortified wall to resist the constant attacks of Bizantine fleets from the sea.

In 1101 Arsuf fell to a [[Crusader]] army led by Baldwin I of Jerusalem. The assassin fought his way through the plains, slaying several groups of many soldiers, both [[Crusader]] and [[Saracen]]. Reaching the encampment, Altaïr was surrounded by Templars, but Richard gave him a chance to speak. Altaïr accused de Sable, and Richard set them in a final battle, so the man "which side God favors" wins. Altaïr was confronted by a dozen Templars and de Sable, but won the duel beside unfavorable odds. Robert warns him that Al Mualim was a Templar all the time, and with Richard's consent, the Assassin leaves for Masyaf to confront his master. <ref name="Assassin's Creed" />

===Modern day===
The Crusaders won the battle and took control of Arsuf. By 1261, the city was ruled by the Knights Hospitaller. It was captured by sultan Baibars in 1265 after 40 days of siege. The Mamluks completely destroyed the town, fearing a return of the Crusaders.

The remains of the ruined fortress and the ancient Arsuf city still stand to this day, within the jurisdiction of the Apollonia National Park in Herzliyya, Israel.

In 1995, a new village named Arsuf was established north of the fortress.

The armor is unlocked by obtaining all Romulus scrolls from the six [[Lairs of Romulus|secret lairs]] throughout the city of [[Rome]].

It is the strongest armor in game and is obtained after collecting all six keys of Romulus. It is found along with the [[Dagger of Brutus]]. Like the [[Armor of Altaïr]], the Armor of Brutus has 25 health diamonds and cannot be dyed.

==Appearance==
The armor looks much bulkier than [[Ezio]]'s [[Master Assassin]] robes due to the fur pauldron that is padded along the shoulders. The fur obviously indicates the Sons of Romulus cult, and is most likely wolf fur. There is a silver eagle on the right shoulder that holds the cape up. There is also a silver eagle on the waist area where the Assassin symbol would normally be, which has been relocated to being painted right above. The armor comes with a grey shortsleeved robe most likely made of wolf fur that is worn underneath the breastplate. The bottom of the robes are in three layers, each one on top of the other, and come down to Ezio's knees. However, the bottoms act almost like a kilt, completley covering the legs, where as the Master Assassin robes part on the sides to keep movement unencumbered. This does not affect mobility in the game however. The armor set consists of metal and leather. The chest armor and spaulders are mostly metal, while the vambraces and greaves are completely leather. The vambraces and greaves are also very plain looking pieces of armor, having very little design compared to the rest of the armor. Unlike the vambraces bought in the game, the Vambraces of Brutus cover both of Ezio's forearms instead of only his right. The hood and cape seem to be connected. They are colored red with a golden trim on the cape.

*Judging by the eagle-shaped appearance of the hood, it can be assumed that [[Markus Junius Brutus]], the original owner of the armor, was an [[Assassin]].
