'''Il Lupo''' (died 1503) was a member of the [[Templars|Templar Order]], who had been trained by [[Baltasar de Silva]] and [[Fiora Cavazza]] to mimic the techniques and skills of the [[Assassins]].

After Fiora and Baltasar had tailed and studied the Assassins for some time, they attempted to "create" their own Assassin.

The two trained Il Lupo to master everything they knew about their enemies, such as their movement and assassination techniques. He also wielded his own [[Multiplayer Weapons#Switchblade|imitation]] of their iconic [[Hidden Blade]], a set of "fang-like blades" that were "clumsy but efficient," as Fiora once described.

Upon finishing his training, Il Lupo was sent on missions by [[Cesare Borgia]] himself.

Some time later, Fiora was betrayed by Cesare, and she joined forces with the Assassins. To hide the evidence of how much she had learned of the Assassin Order while she had worked for the Templars, Fiora planned to eliminate Il Lupo.

She left a signal on the Pasquino statue as a message to Il Lupo that she wished to meet him. Fiora waited for him at the docks at sunset, with an Assassin tailing her for her protection, as she had only recently escaped an attempt on her life by Baltasar. However, Il Lupo quickly killed the Assassin, throwing the body into the river and telling Fiora calmly that she had been followed.

Fiora then began to tell him of an "assignment" from Cesare to eliminate a target on a boat out in the harbor. As Il Lupo looked towards the boat and questioned how he would be able to reach it unseen, Fiora attacked him.

She cut into his back with a poisoned, [[Multiplayer Weapons#Fan|iron-tipped fan]], though Il Lupo retaliated, backhanding her and drawing his rapier. However, his efforts were in vain, and he quickly succumbed to the poison; vomiting, cursing and questioning Fiora as he died.

==Trivia==
*"II Lupo" translates to "The Wolf."
*The grey of his cloak evokes a wolf's coat, and the "fang-like" blades resemble a wolf's fangs, concealed right before the strike.
*In the ''[[Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood]]'' Official Strategy Guide (Collector's edition), Il Lupo is shown with an actual hidden blade, instead of his switchblade. Additionally, the blade is worn on his right arm, whereas his switchblade is worn on his left.

II lupo and La vope are very simallar; both names are that of animals, both wear hoods and capes, and both their names match their factions La vope a thief and II lupo a Templar assassin.

==Description==
The Orsi brothers, [[Ludovico Orsi|Ludovico]] and [[Checco Orsi|Checco]], arrive at the citadel of [[Rocca di Ravaldino]]. They threaten to murder [[Caterina Sforza]]'s children, [[Bianca Riario]] and [[Ottaviano Riario]], unless 'a certain map' and '[[Sixth Apple|a certain apple]]' are traded for their lives. Stating their terms, the brothers leave for the [[Romagna]] countryside. [[Ezio Auditore da Firenze|Ezio]] gives Caterina the Apple for safekeeping and leaves in search of her children, each of them being held in different parts of Romagna. Upon rescuing Bianca, Ezio is told that that her brother is been held at the light house. Ezio reaches the guarded lighthouse, assassinates Ludovico and rescues Ottaviano.
