The '''Frontier''' was a large tract of countryside located in the [[United States|American]] north-east. Many battles of the [[French and Indian War]] and the [[American Revolutionary War]] took place here.

As the war dragged on, the condition of the towns would change during the preparation or aftermath of a battle. At different times, one could find battalions of men readying for a charge, or injured soldiers by abandoned tents.<ref name="GameInformer Exploring" />

The [[Assassins|Assassin]] Ratonhnhaké:ton was particularly skilled in navigating the Frontier, and was able to climb and [[Freerunning|free-run]] across tree branches, granting him an advantage over his enemies traveling below.<ref name="GameInformer" />

The '''Davenport Homestead''' was an area in Massachusetts, originally inhabited solely by the [[Master Assassin]] [[Achilles Davenport]]. It consisted of a manor and a small town, in which the [[Assassins|Assassin]] [[Ratonhnhaké:ton]] could invite people to live. The Homestead also held a small dock for Ratonhnhaké:ton's ship, the ''[[Aquila]]''. From here, the inhabitants could raise income through trade and crafting.

The Homestead was seen by some residents as their second chance, since many of them had lost their previous homes to the conflict of the [[American Revolutionary War]].

The home is used as Connor's weapon/outfit safe area. Once you buy something from a store and want to change to a previous weapon/outfit, you must go to the Davenport Homestead. The home is very much like Ezio's Villa in Italy where he kept all his weapons and armour.
