At the beginning of the third sequence, [[Mario Auditore da Firenze|Ezio's Uncle]] says "It's-a-me! Mario!" which is a reference to Super Mario Bros .

=Giant Octopus=
A giant octopus can be found in Santa Maria Delle Visitazione. The octopus appears after activating the lever that brings out the bars to swing and traverse the final chamber. To find the giant octopus you must look down the water near the lever for a minute. Once a minute or so has passed a cutscene showing a large octopus should pass by. A second cutscene can be activated if the player activates the lever and looks down again. The cutscene shows Ezio narrowly dodging the giant octopus's tentacle, then swims away.

You Don't need to activate the lever to see the octopus and you dont have to look down into the water either, just stand a few steps to the left of the lever on the edge of the water and wait for a minute or so and the cutscene will play for the octopus to swim by, as for the tentical i think u may have to pull the lever because i couldnt get that cutscene to play until i pulled the lever and did the whole chamber, then at the end when i swung off the last bar/switch thing, and landed on the platform where u start the tentical flew out of the water and scared the S**t out of me.

= Altaïr's Outfit=
Altaïr's outfit from ''Assassin's Creed'' can be unlocked via Uplay by purchasing it for 30 points. It does not add/change any stat points for Ezio.
