Post French Revolution, in New York, USA; matches the co-ordinates given in AC Brotherhood. Fits with the roughly 300 year interval pattern. Late 1600's - early 1700's has a lot going on in terms of American History and the history of Freemasonry in America; could provide for a good intertwining of history and plot by the way of pivotal historic figures and assassinations. Masonic logo is also very similar to the Assassin's logo; Ubisoft even use it for the Diligence skill icon in the skills tab of the profile page in the AC Project Legacy on Facebook. Just a thought.
