To use Eagle Vision, the player must press the Head button. Depending on control settings, the Head button will most likely be either (for Playstation 3), Y (for Xbox 360), or E (for PC default layout). In addition, the Synchronization bar must be at its current maximum capacity, otherwise pressing the Head button will instead result in a first-person view with no extra benefits.

When Altaïr climbs to the top of a View Point, he must press the Head button to view his surroundings and update the map. Once doing so, Altaïr could only view with Eagle Vision when perched on the Viewpoint.

At the end of Assassin's Creed, after Altaïr (controlled by Desmond) kills Al Mualim, Desmond gains the ability to use Eagle Vision outside of the Animus. In addition, observes Lucy glowing blue, confirming her as an ally and Warren Vidic can be seen glowing red, confirming him as an enemy. Eagle Vision also reveals Cryptic Messages Subject 16 wrote with his own blood in the Abstergo Laboratory.
}}Don't you recognize me? It's-a-me, Mario!
Mario Auditore (1434 - 1499) was the older brother of Giovanni Auditore and the uncle of Ezio. Like his brother, he was an Assassin, but prefered combat and group maneuvers over infiltration and stealth. He had become a condottiere leading a sizable group of mercenaries to fight against the Templars (and their interests) hidden among the local nobility. He proved to be a valuable ally to his nephew Ezio (who he refers to as nipote, Italian for 'nephew') and trained him to improve his fighting skills in Monteriggioni.

Biography
Early life
Asddsect it by taking it to Forlì. Mario then invited Leonardo to the Villa Auditore in Monteriggioni.

When Ezio obtained 50 feathers and placed them in the chest in Maria's room, Mario entered and attempted to stop Ezio from continuing on what Mario considered to be a vain effort.

Mario was there when Ezio placed all of the Codex pages in the wall of the Auditore Family Villa. Together with the other Assassins, he found out that the Codex pages showed a map of all the locations in the worsddkfldsssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssfdsssssssssssfsddddddddddddddddddddddddddddsfdddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssoni was attacked by Cesare Borgia and his men. Mario quickly met with Ezio and told him to protect the city in any way possible and that he (Mario) would keep the Apple safe with him. However, Mario became wounded and was captured by Cesare. Mario, who walked back to the oqsjdq

Personality and characteristics
Mario dresses in the flamboyant style of the Italian nobility of the Renaissance, sports long, dark hair that he slicks back neatly and has a scar over his left eye, which he is also blind in. He is a boisterous man, and makes no apologies for his passion for fighting and alcohol. He cares deeply for his brother and his brother's family, and is extremely proud of his Assassin heritage. From his letter to Giovanni and their differences in fighting styles, it can be assumed that he was often playfully critical of his brother, much like his nephew Federico is with Ezio.

Upon close inspection, one notes that Mario often puts his hand on the shoulder of the person he's speaking to, presumably as a sign of closeness/affection.

Trivia
*After rescuing Ezio from Vieri de' Pazzi, Mario identifies himself by saying "It's-a me, Mario!" This is likely a reference to Nintendo's video game mascot, Mario, and his most famous spoken line.
*He has a scar over his left eye, and is susequently blind in said eye.
*The logo of the Assassins is embroidered/stitched onto the leather of Mario's left shoulder pad. The Auditore coat of arms is also stitched onto the cape he wears.
*Mario's date of birth as listed in the Database as 1434. It also says that Mario took part in the Battle of Anghiari, which took place in 1440, making him only 6 years old at the time.
*He is often referred to as ubriacone ("drunkard" in Italian) by the Pazzi.
*Although Mario lives in the villa, you only get to see him during missions or when you place your 50th feather in Maria's box.
*He is apparently a proponent of geocentrism, believing the sun to revolve around the earth.
Petruccio Auditore is a Florentine young nobleman living during the 15th century in Italy: the Renaissance. He is one of the sons of Giovanni Auditore, an Assassin. He is briefly seen during the dinner next to Claudia, before Giovanni goes to his mission.

Near the beginning of the game, Petruccio asks his brother, Ezio, to retrieve some feathers for him. Ezio must return with the feathers quickly because Petruccio is not allowed outside due to his "illness". When Ezio brings the feathers to him, he asks what are they for, Petruccio responds "It's a secret" and will tell Ezio in time. The next morning, Petruccio is executed along with Frederico and Giovanni as part of a conspiracy. After Petruccio's death, Ezio decides to collect more feathers in memory of his brother. These can be stored in a chest in the Villa Auditore in Monteriggioni. However, after that he is no longer mentioned in the game.

When 50 of these feathers are collected an in-game cutscene will play in which Ezio's uncle Mario tells him to give up. He then tells his nephew that he has a special weapon prepared for him at the Monteriggioni blacksmith. The weapon is the Condottiero Warhammer, the most powerful hammer in the game.

When the player collects all 100 of these feathers an in-game cutscene plays in which Ezio embraces his mother, who speaks for the first time since the family's deaths. She thanks Ezio for not forgetting Petruccio and presents Ezio with the Auditore Cape. This cape makes the player notorious at all times when outside Monteriggioni, and the methods of lowering notoriety (killing corrupt Officials, bribing Heralds and tearing down Wanted Posters) are not available. Removing the cape returns the player's notoriety to the level it was at before the cape was put on.

Removing the cape returns the player's notoriety to the level it was at before the cape was put on.
etggggfgffdffdfffgffgfgTrivia
*Petruccio has you collect eagle feathers which were used in the first game (and by the real Hashshashin) to signify the completion of an assassination after they were swiped along the bleeding neck of the victim.
*If Petruccio's profile at the Database is read, it states that he may have died from his "illness", although it is later revealed in the mission "Last Man Standing" that he was executed.
*Petruccio is portrayed by Michael Marsh.
*If you go by the dates in the database, Petruccio was 13 when he died.
*Unfortuntaly Ezio never knows Petruccio's secret.
