Darius was a member of the Persian [[Assassins' Guild]]. In 465 BC, he successfully assassinated King Xerxes with a newly invented tool, the [[hidden blade]].<br />

*Darius was the first known user of the hidden blade.<br />
*Darius had all ten fingers, as seen on the picture on the right. Whether this is artistic license or oversight is unknown.<br />
*This could be due to the puffy aspect of Persian attire, thus rendering it difficult to use the blade on the inside of the arm. The hidden blade would then be worn on the outside, cancelling the need to remove the ring finger.<br />
*Unlike most other Assassins, Darius had his hidden blade on his right arm.<br />

'''Animus data fragments''' were fragments spread throughout the city of [[Constantinople]] during [[Desmond Miles]]' [[Animus]] sessions. Collecting each one of them would open up a small memory for him, which he could play while in the [[Black Room|Animus Island]].<ref name="Interview">[http://spong.com/feature/10110536/Interview-Assassins-Creed-Revelations-Part-2 Assassin's Creed Revelations - Interview Part 2.]</ref> When Desmond fell in a Coma due to the stress put on his mind, the other assasins atempted to revive him by puting him back in the animus. These Fragments can be collected when playing as Ezio in Constantinople. When collecting a certain amount of fragments(Which are ironically shaped as AC Brotherhood loading symbols), Desmond is able to access the inside on the Animus' core system, runs as a peice of memory through the Animus, and explains his early life to the player while doing so.<br />

* There are 100 Animus data fragments spread throughout Constantinople in total.<br />
* On Animus Island there is a small hill with pillars on it. These pillars are actually smaller portals that are used to access Desmond's memories. There are five working portals in total and one collapsed portal. Each portal need a certain amount of Animus data fragments to be accessed.<br />
