The Captain (real name: Donato Mancini) is a multiplayer character in Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood. The Captain's weapons consist of a rapier and a parrying dagger.

Donato was known as the greatest rider in all of Cesare Borgia's army, a title Cesare envied. So, in order to take the title for himself, Cesare ordered Fiora Cavazza to make Donato lose a race with him, through bribery or violence.

He was offered an ornate suit of armor and many other gifts but he refused to back down steadfastly, preaching that the winner is the winner.<br />
Despite their many attempts to stop his victory he emerged victorious which made Cesare furious. He then ordered Donato to be beaten, and he was, brutally.

Donato was a man of honour which was something that Fiora Cavazza respected.

Unique Moves
It should be noted that Ezio has used the first two moves.

Slice and Dice (Low Profile, Front)

The Captain walks up to his target, unsheathing his rapier, and slices their legs before slashing towards the cheek. To finish them off, he stabs his victim in the heart.

The Impaler (Low Profile, Back)

The Captain pulls out his sword and impales his target in the back, where their heart would be. He twists the blade, making his victim twitch, before pulling his sword out and letting his target fall to the floor.

Fatal Flourish (High Profile, Front)

The Captain pulls out his sword, and with a quick series of slashes, he replaces it again, just as his victim spins to the floor. This is different from Slice and Dice as he never stabs his victim.

The Deep Stab (High Profile, Back)

The Captain runs up behind his target and pushes them onto their knees, before pulling out his sword and shoving the blade down into the crevice of their neck. He then pulls his rapier out and sheathes it, letting his victim's body fall forward to the ground.

Straight to the Point (Bench Kill)

The Captain draws his rapier and slashes his target across the torso, before holding their shoulder and forcefully stabbing his victim in the chest, to the blade's hilt, before withdrawing his sword and storing it back into its scabbard. The point of the blade can be seen, visible from out of his victim's back, before he brutally pulls it free.

Swooping Steel (Aerial Kill)

The Captain leaps from a rooftop and lands his victim, forcing them to the ground. Then he pulls out his rapier and plunges it into his target's neck, killing them instantly.

The Prowler (real name: Il Lupo) is a multiplayer character in Assassin's Creed Brotherhood who wields a switchblade, one that is similar to the hidden blade of the Assassins. Despite his similarity to the Assassins, the Prowler is, as all other multiplayer characters in Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood, a Templar.

Unique Moves
Headache (Low Profile, Back)

The Prowler walks up behind his target and stabs his switchblade through the back of their head, severing the spinal cord. This causes the target to briefly go rigid, before dropping to the floor.

Piercing Embrace (Low Profile, Front)

The Prowler approaches the front of his target and stabs his switchblade into the stomach of his target, while simultaneously using his other hand to pull the target further into the blade and leaning into them to insert it in further. Then, withdrawing the blade, he gently pushes the target to the floor.

Pinpoint Ejection (High Profile, Back)

The Prowler runs up to his target, grabbing their right arm and stabbing them in the back, severing their spine. He then yanks the blade out backwards, pulling his target behind him and freeing his switchblade, sheathing it away as he watches his target lie spread eagle on the floor.

The Leaping Fury (High Profile, Front)

The Prowler runs up to his target from the front and lands on their chest. Then he releases his switchblade and stabs his target through the skull.

The Plunge of Death (Aerial Kill)

The Prowler leaps from a rooftop above, on top of his target, forcing them to the ground and plunging the switchblade into their skull. The target dies instantly.

Ripchord (Bench Kill)

The Prowler pulls the target up off of the bench and to the side with his blade, before brutally yanking the blade free, slashing them across the chest and letting them go, their body falling to the floor.

The Doctor (real name: Malfatto, ? - 1503) is a multiplayer character in Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood, who uses a syringe as his primary weapon.

His outfit highly resembles the ones worn by doctors during the plague, and appears black in the dark. His face is concealed by a mask, therefore making his true identity unknown. His outfit is different from what the doctors wear in Assassin's Creed II, most noticeably due to the slightly shorter beak of his mask.

He makes an appearance in the single player mode of Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood in a main storyline mission, as opposed to several other multiplayer characters, who appear in Templar Agent side missions.

He is also featured in Assassin's Creed: Project Legacy, where it is revealed that he is in the employ of Cesare Borgia, and is known as a serial killer that targets courtesans. Despite being on his side at the time, Fiora Cavazza feared him and called him a "monster." After their first meeting wherein Fiora delivered a sealed document from Cesare, Malfatto entered Fiora's home while she was sleeping and injected her with his syringe, either drugging her or attempting to poison her. However, she was able to defend herself, cutting him badly with her own weapon.

At one point in Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood, Ezio Auditore comes across a courtesan crying over a fellow courtesan's dead body. She told him Malfatto had murdered her. Ezio reassured the courtesan that he would find Malfatto, and after a short time he located the doctor prowling in the district. Ezio signaled his Assassin Recruits to kill Malfatto, and they succeeded shortly after.thumb|300px|right|Serial Offender
Database Entry
Date of Birth: Unknown.

Profession: Doctor

Abstergo's database: "Ravaging the poor districts of Rome, Malfatto preys on those unfortunate enough to be caught unaware."

The only data I could find outside of that was a report of a masked doctor in 1502 seen lurking outside the Rosa in Fiore. This guy seems like really bad news, and I've read a lot of bad news lately.

Unique Moves
Lethal Injection (Low Profile, Back)
: The Doctor attacks his target from behind and swiftly thrusts his syringe downward into their shoulder, injecting poison into them. Before his victim can realize what has happened, the toxins spread rapidly through their system and they collapse to the ground, dying silently.

Deadly Serum (Low Profile, Front)
: The Doctor walks towards his target, before thrusting his syringe into his victim's neck. They then fall to the ground, dying from the puncture wound.

The Eye Transplant (High Profile, Front)
: The Doctor charges at his target, forcing them onto their back and injecting the syringe through their eye and into the brain, causing instant death. He then twists his syringe before pulling it out and storing it at his waist.

Cardiac Arrest (High Profile, Back)
: The Doctor pushes his syringe into his target's back, through their ribcage and piercing their heart. The tip can be seen out of his victim's sternum as their heart fails, before the Doctor pushes them gently to the floor. (This move is similar to a way that Ezio assassinates guards in the singleplayer story mode)

Just a little Prick! (Bench Kill)
: The Doctor throws the victim off of the bench and thrusts his syringe into his victim's neck. They then lie to the ground, dying from the puncture wound.

Customization
Colors:
*Basic: Dark Green Robe/Black Cloth
*Extra 1: Burgundy Robe/Red Cloth
*Extra 2: Tan Robe/Yellow Cloth
*Extra 3: Black Robe/White Cloth

Gear:
*Advanced: Altered mask, added cloth at sides of mask
*Superior: Added black spaulders on both shoulders with red straps, added cloth as extension to belt pouches.
*Elite: Added cloth tabard with a caduceus at chest area, red straps under tabard, forearm area of robes have a black and colored pattern.

Trivia
*Malfatto is an Italian surname that may derive from the Italian word malfattore or "someone who does evil deeds."
*Malfatto also translates from Italian to mean "misdemeanor".
*When killed by Ezio or an apprentice (for full synchronization), the memory corridor death scene shows Ezio saying the traditional words, but instead of closing Malfattos eyes, he looks quizzically at the mask and pulls his hand away. This is one of the few times Ezio has ever altered his usual procedeure.
*The doctor nearly has the exact appearence of the physici epidemeie (italian: Plague Doctors) that treated patients during times of the Black Death. Intrestingly, these doctors soon became symbols of death as does Malfatto.
*It is possible that, as a doctor who murders courtesans, Malfatto is a reference to Jack the Ripper, a serial killer of late-19th century London who murdered prostitutes in the Whitechapel district and whom many believed to be a surgeon.
