The '''Captain''' (real name: [[Donato Mancini]]) previously known as The Soldier is a multiplayer character in ''[[Assassin's Creed Brotherhood]]''. The Captain's weapons consist of a [[Multiplayer Weapons#Captain's Swords|short sword and a dagger]].

Donato was known as the greatest rider in all of [[Cesare Borgia|Cesare Borgia's]] army, a title Cesare envied. So Cesare ordered [[Fiora Cavazza]] to make Donato lose a race with him, through bribery or violence. He was offered an ornate suit of armor and many other gifts but he refused to back down steadfastly preaching that the winner is the winner. 
Despite their many attempts to stop his victory he emerged victorious making Cesare furious. He ordered Donato beaten and he was, brutally.

He was a man of honor which Fiora Cavazza respected.

: The Captain pulls out his sword, and with a quick series of slashes, he replaces it again, just as his victim spins to the floor. This is different from the ''Slice and Dice'' as he never stabs his victim.

: The Captain pulls out his sword, and impales his target in the back, where their heart would be. He twists the blade, making his victim twitch, before pulling his sword out and letting his target fall to the floor.

*Extra 3: Turquoise and White 
Gear:
*Advanced: Polished armor, with a small black and silver Templar cross insignia in the center of the chest guard, and an added golden color on the tip of his greaves (near knees). 
*Superior: Modified right spaulder, and an added golden color on the tip of his vambraces (near elbows). 
*Elite: Modified left spaulder, and his metal cestus becomes gold.

==Trivia==
*His surname "Mancini" derives from the word "manco" which is Italian for "left-handed".
*The armor given to him by Fiora can be purchased in ''[[Assassin's Creed: Project Legacy]]''. It is called the Decorative Armor, and its description shares that it is not made for comfort.
*He shares his Bench kill and Aerial kill with the Marquis, as both of them use fencing swords as weapons.

The '''Blacksmith''' (real name '''[[Auguste Oberlin]]''') is an unlockable multiplayer character in ''[[Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood]]''. He uses a large [[Multiplayer Weapons#Hammer|hammer]] as his primary weapon. He was a Swiss [[mercenary]] and appears in the story mode of ''Brotherhood ''as a Templar Agent. To unlock the Blacksmith, the player has to reach level 15.

[[Fiora Cavazza]] was actually shocked by him, as he gave the impression of a brute while being a very cultured man.

In 1503 [[Ezio Auditore]] saw a woman sitting on a bench in town beaten and bruised, and he asked the woman who had done this to her. She replied that her husband changed as the [[Borgia]] gave him what he wanted and instead of him posting signs for the shops, he claimed them in the name of the Borgia and hurt any who stood in his way. Ezio tore down the Borgia posters one by one until Augustine heard of this. Enraged, he found Ezio and attacked with brute force, aided by his hammer, but instead fell by the blade of the Assassin, putting his control over the neighborhood shops to an end.

*The Blacksmith never receives an armguard or sleeve of somekind on his left arm to attach a hidden gun, so if the hidden gun is equipped on him, it will appear as if it is internally attached to his skin.
*Even though the multiplayer character, his database picture, promotional artwork, and his profession all have/use hammers, he fights with a bearded axe against Ezio in the single player templar assignment.
