Other than the armor and cannons, it has no other special properties like the other legendary ships. The best way to take down is beast ship is to stay on the back of the ship and, fire chain shot repeatedly and when you can fire heavy shot into the back (although it's hard to find the moment without getting the HMS Prince's cannons on you) without having it get it's cannons on you. After the battle it will drop 20,000R for the reward of taking down this ship.
